Meet the Author

J.B. McGee was born and raised in Aiken, South Carolina. After graduating from South Aiken High School, she toured Europe as a member of the 1999 International Bands of America Tour, playing the clarinet. While attending Converse College, an all girls school in Spartanburg, South Carolina, she visited Charleston often. It quickly became one of her favorite vacation spots. She met her husband, Chad, during Christmas break her freshman year, and they married in 2001. They moved back to her hometown. In 2005, the couple welcomed their first son, Noah. J.B. finished her Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of South Carolina-Aiken in 2006. During her time studying children's literature, a professor had encouraged her to become a writer.

In 2007, she welcomed their second child, Jonah, and she became a stay at home mom/entrepreneur. In 2009, they found out their two children and J.B. have Mitochondrial Disease. In 2011, a diagnosis also was given to Chad. Please take a moment and learn more about Mitochondrial Disease. Awareness is key to this disease that has no cure or treatments.

J.B. McGee and her family now reside in Buford, Georgia, to be closer to their children's medical team. After a passion for reading had been re-ignited, J.B. decided to finally give writing a shot. Broken (This Series), is her first book and first series.

    Enjoyable!

    Veronica and Ian story was a great thing the read! I loved the fact that she took a chance with him even when she considered his age! I also loved how he was there for her in her time of need!

    This was a short read, but I liked having Ian and Veronica's story to see what they were thinking during book 2.

    Let me start by saying I really liked this book. In all honesty

    Let me start by saying I really liked this book. In all honesty it was exactly what I though it would be. After reading this I have mixed feelings about Veronica. On one hand I feel for her because of the Bradley situation. But, on the other hand, how dare she lie about something that huge! I'm glad J.B. allowed us a glimpse into what Ian was thinking. And because of that I trust him even less. I do wish J.B. would have taken the readers into the moment that Ian and Veronica found out the life changing news. But maybe we will get to see that in "Falling" I can't wait to see how Ian and Veronica's story plays out.

    This story about Veronica and Ian left me breathless.... I was l

    This story about Veronica and Ian left me breathless.... I was left with some crazy mixed feelings that kept changing as I kept reading. I loved every minute of it! Wow this book also gets Steamy and Hot, felt I needed a moment or two to myself.... So many questions are answered but boy did it leave me wanting to know so much more too! I still love Bradley yes he didn't treat Veronica right and darn straight he should have contacted her, but he always made it clear to Gabby he had been a player and treated women wrong in his past so I expected no less and Gabby had shown him the light, ask for Veronica I feel sorry for her in some ways but she made me so mad in others, now Ian I hate that he is so sure of himself but at the same time he is caring and realises he did so wrong and I feel for him he wants to do his best by Veronica but not after being a total ass yet I still fell angry with him about Gabby no matter how sorry he feels for what he did, this book will leave you wanting so much more I can promise you that! Thank you J.B McGee x
