    I Also Recommend:

    I really love the book.

    The book covert persuasion. Kevin Hogan gives the reader much knowledge to chew on in his tiny book of only 223 pages. He gives the reader much to think about when convincing a person to read and article,buy a car, interest a potential love of ones life...etc. One of the best chapters to read, in my opion, is this: chapter 5. The words of covert persuasion. So many times when a person attempts to change someone's mind they do it with interrogatory speeches and "that" always,always,fails.. Kevin Hogan guides the reader through 12 of the most powerful words in the english language and shows the reader how to use the to create powerful suggestions in the minds of the listener. I also recommend covert hypnosis if you have found that you like this book by him. This book has opened my eyes to the many ways that all of us are being "snowed" by salesmen. It has also opened my eyes to the many possibilities the persuasion has: whether in the classroom, stateroom, or grocery store. It has many, many, possibilities and comes hight recommended. If you are interested in persuading anyone and everyone I urge you to buy the book. I have gotten many benefits from it.

    Covert Persuasion

    This book is very useful when attempting to persuade someone into your way of thinking. It gives insight into how people think and how to use that to your advantage. It's a great book and I would definitely recommend picking it up.

    Complete compendium of convincing tactics

    Looking for ways to convince clients and employees to see things your way? Motivational speakers Kevin Hogan and James Speakman offer dozens of secrets of what they call ¿covert persuasion¿ ¿ the art and science of gently nudging people to do what you want them to do. Hogan and Speakman offer dozens of specific techniques for discretely bending customers to your will. Occasionally, these techniques seem more cheesy than covert ¿ for example, saying 'Just imagine how much you'll be admired in that new car.' And if you're not a fan of Dale Carnegie, Zig Ziglar and Jeffrey Gitomer, you may lose patience. Still, even skeptics are likely to find something they can use among the worksheets, lists and tactics outlined here. We recommend this overview to salespeople and to those who want to polish their persuasive skills.
