    Yummy

    Yummy! is what you will say as you go through this book. The cupcakes and the receipes seem delicious and for the most part easy enough to do. I think younger children will need a parents help but it would be fun to do together. Who doesn't like a great cupcake?

    Great Little Addition!

    I happen to come across this little gem one day while I was browsing through all the cookbooks. I was looking for something different so I could try to expand my culinary skills. I recently tried the "Gingerbread Cupcakes" and they were absolutely amazing. I don't know what was better, the actual cupcakes or the delicious "Ginger Cream Cheese Frosting". I can't wait to try out additional recipes in the near future. Even though the recipes call for a lot of ingredients, you won't be disappointed by the end results. Also, the cookbook provides photos of the cupcakes showing how they should look, which is very helpful.

    Overall, I highly recommend this cookbook to anyone and it would make a great gift to those who like baking.

    Great Ideas - so so recipes

    There are a lot of cute ideas about how to decorate the cupcakes. There is also a wide variety of cupcake recipes. However, I like my cake or cupcakes to be moist, and these really aren't. I'd stick to your tried and true recipes. My 4-year-old son does enjoy looking through the book and picking out which cupcakes we should try next.

    One to add to the cookbook shelf

    I came across this book while purchasing a requested book as a gift for a new cupcake enthusiast. The recipes for cupcakes and frosting convinced me that she needed this in her library as well. While the decorating ideas are not as stunningly creative as some other cupcake books, they certainly make for some elegant presentation (more adult fare than whimsical). It was the quality and quantity of recipes that really impressed me. The gift recipient has been concentrating on decorating, but this will help boost the taste of her products. The templates should also come in handy. I'm looking forward to borrowing the gift for some experimentation of my own.

    not so good

    When I made the blueberry cupcake it was very dry and my family said that the blueberry muffin i got out of a magazine from the 2000 or 1999 was way better. the magazine is called taste of home.
