Overview

The world is dead.

Millions of flesh-hungry zombies roam the land, seeking out the last survivors.

Buddy, a pregnant Julie, Mickey, Gwen and Bear are refugees from Eden, seeking a better place. Along the way they face adversaries living and dead, and befriend new survivors, whose sole hope lies is the complete annihilation of the undead. Yet none suspects that the true threat lies within their ranks.

The only chance humanity has is a total war--a crusade--against the zombie hordes. In a war of the living versus the dead, the stakes are high and only one side can emerge victorious!

Do Not Buy This Un-American Drivel

A fiction author should avoid injecting their personal political beliefs into a story. Especially if the author obviously rejects our founding and founding documents. I wish I'd known before purchasing this book that the author was a statist. He even goes so far as to quote "The Communist Manifesto" and tries to give it a positive spin. But on second thought, maybe the author will redistribute his profits..."From each according to his ability, to each according to his need"...Right Tony?

    more from this reviewer

    I Also Recommend:

    Nice addition to the series

"Crusade" is a nice sequel to the series. Though written by a separate author (Monchinski instead of Arlin) it still has the gritty, gory action and suspensful moments as "Eden" but focuses more on character development. The story delves more into how a person's state of mind can become in a zombie apocalypse which is going well for the series; nice buildup for the trilogy (hoping there will be one). I also felt that it was a shorter read, mostly because of the amount of chapters but also because of the stories ability for continuity; which was much easier to understand than the first book.

All and all I recommend it if you're a fan of the series. Can't wait for the next!
