Although this book is a paranormal romance it was nothing like I expected! I thought it was very refreshing to read something totally different than the other paranormal romances I have read. Sadie is what every young girl should want to be and the relationship she has with her mother is wonderful. Rayne seems like the perfect guy, he is HOT and caring and thoughtful...yet he has a secret or two. One thing I really enjoyed about the book was that it was a clean book. It didn't have teens doing things that they really shouldn't be doing. I loved the mystery and can't wait for book 2!! I highly recommend this easy read.

After buying this book, I delayed reading it for a good two months. I just had no interest. Finally, today I started it, expecting to be bored and instead read the whole thing in one sitting! This book was absolutely great and only got better as it progressed. Immediately I looked up the next book and was saddened to see it doesn't come out until spring. The characters are well developed and I found myself loving her relationship with her mom and friends as much as with Rayne, and that is very rare for me! I can't wait for the next book; the pages of this seemed to fly by and the secrets that are revealed in the final chapter had me desperate for more!

Anderson offers a creative alternate world that will give a readers a relax from the the typical paranormal story. Admittedly, I found found this book slightly frustrating. While I loved the characters, and could see the potential growing through this book; it was obvious that the climax was not going to be reached in this particular book. Sadie is a very special and down to earth character that readers will enjoy. This mystery of her past will keep readers guessing with this easy paced story. The alternate world that Anderson has previewed throughout the book still remains a mystery holding my attraction to this story. My overall impression of this read is a enjoyable and imaginative read.

This book is a must read if you're a total romantic!

What a fun & intriguing story! I really enjoyed it! Sadie James is the lovable girl next door I love to read about. The playfulness the author gives to Sadie really brings her to life in this novel where everything isn't as perfect as it seems. Rayne is the dreamy boy with amazing eyes that draw you in! With him comes a whole other world of suspense & danger.
I live in the area that the author places the story & the descriptions are spot on! It's so fun to read a story like that, just like some of the Dean Koontz books. The author's descriptions of everything from the local hospital to our beautiful beaches was great, I could really imagine Sadie living in a nearby neighborhood!
I'm so intrigued by the concept & the things that start happening to Sadie. I want to read more about Sadie & Rayne, the world that Rayne comes from, & the adventures they have together! I can't wait to see how it unfolds in the rest of the series!
A great, fun read for sure!

I LOVED this book. It was very romantic, which i like! It also was paranormalish. Idk how to explain it but this book is a definate read. I highly recommend it. Can't wait for the 2nd book!! (:

When i started this book i wasnt sure how good it was going to be. The cover and title do not do this book justice! It was an amzing book, with a great plot and good characters! I thoroughly enjoyed this book!

If you liked twilight you will love this!!!!! If i was sadie i would feel stalked but it is still really cool i loved it towards the end because it was totally unexpected
