Overview

Aidan Burke is the perfect rebound guy for Jessie Law after she catches her asshole ex-boyfriend with his hands down some other girl's pants. When she meets the world-famous drummer of Dirty B on a night out, she takes him up on his simple proposal: one night of fun, hot sex, with zero expectations. But soon Dirty B's tour is over, and they're back in South Carolina-which means running into Aidan more often than Jessie would like. When Aidan saves Jessie from her ex-boyfriend by insisting that the two are dating, the band's manager convinces them to keep up the charade in the hopes of re-inventing Dirty B's image as lovable bad boys, as opposed to d-bags. Now all Aidan and Jessie have to do is put on a very obvious, very public show to convince everyone that their affection is real. Unfortunately, Aidan's hordes of jealous fans have no problem bombarding Jessie with threatening messages online-and worse. And things only get more complicated when Jessie realizes that her feelings for Aidan may not be so fake after all.Contains mature themes.

Emma Hart has once again delivered a novel that stole my heart. The combination of character development and a dynamic, detailed plot make for an unputdownable novel. Aidan Burke and Jessie Law had a connection and chemistry that felt like it was just pouring out of the pages. I loved being able to see the tough sides to both characters as well as the sweet, caring and romantic sides. This book is the perfect combination of sass, humour and sexiness. This book is a definite must read and I will be recommending it, along with every other Emma Hart novel to everyone I know!

Dirty Lies by Emma Hart was another win in the Burke Brothers Series. I enjoyed the chemistry and banter between Aidan and Jessie. I was entertained from beginning to end of this book and am eagerly anticipating the next and final book. I enjoy all of Emma's books and this one is no exception.

Dirty Lies Emma Hart is the third book in her Burke Brothers series. I was on the fence with this one - Aidan was a great character but Jessie and her attitude really bugged me about 50% of the time. I think it was because as a reader I could see what was going on with Aidan while she didn't and had doubts. At times, I wanted to slap the snot out of her but that just means it was great writing and real characters. The boys are back home and Aidan who has been shot down by Jessie in the past convinces her to hook-up once after they run into each other at the bar. The hook-up turns into a fake relationship for the paparazzi and the bands reputation and publicity. But will it stay so cut and dry? Well - no - it won't - that would just be too easy. Aidan and his drums are just starting to realize what he has in front of him when the attention of the fans and their social media attacks on Jessie throw a wrench in the works. Is she tough enough to withstand that level of attention? Another great story about these Burke boys and I can only imagine what kind of a cluster Kye makes of his story! I can't wait.
