True Crime reders, you don't want to miss DREAM ROOM--Tales of the Dixie Mafia.

Chet Nicholson's DREAM ROOM--Tales of the Dixie Mafia is an exciting journey into the world of the infamous Dixie Mafia, who were prominent ien the Southeast and parts of the Southwest during the 50's, 60's, 70's & 80's.
DREAM ROOM is a series of stories, each one as exciting as the next. The book draws the reader into a shady world of gambling, prostitution, strippers, murder, and crooked politicians. The writing is excellent, and moves along at a brisk pace.
I've read alot of true crime books during my time, and DREAM ROOM ranks up there with the best of them.

Dream Room Tales of the Dixie Mafia

This is one of THE BEST books that I have ever read. It has everything you could ask for from action, to crime and conspiracy, to twisted love triangles. The characters are amazingly colorful and just don't get any better than this. This book immediately grabs you and plunges you into the intricate workings of the deep south organized crime scene. Once you start reading it, you just can't put it down. This is well worth reading more than once.

    Bombshell

Couldn't put it down, start to finish. This guy can write. Although episodic in nature, it hangs together because it's arranged chronologically. We see the development of the relationships between and amoung these amazingly well drawn characters. I'm 44 years old and been an avid reader since whenever: don't know when I've EVER read more convincing dialog. Wish I had a sixth star to hang out there.
