David lives in the world created by the bank bailouts and the credit squeeze. It's not a good place to be. The cities are battlegrounds, those with jobs fight those without and the young fight the old. Fear hangs in the air like a fog, and violence is a way of life. He has to get out. All he has to do is find a way past the armed guards, the landmines and the heavy machine guns at the border.

So far, this is amazing. It's scary to think that society may come down to this and have an immense amount of greed and lack of understanding of how the economy works, thus resulting in the negative effect of the people's desires. Over all, it's extremely well writen and has an immense amount of detail.
