Setting aside the centuries of warfare between them, the Demons (paranormal but neither Biblical nor evil) and Lycanthropes are working together to defeat the Necromancers, who threaten both their races. When Demon warrior captain Elijah is nearly killed in an ambush, he is rescued and restored by none other than Siena, the Lycanthrope queen. Before long they discover a powerful attraction, but Siena fears that giving in to love will mean relinquishing her power. After the heavy world-building in Frank's last two Nightwalker books (Jacoband Gideon), newcomers may struggle to keep straight the various paranormals and their powers; they'll be more comfortable in the romance department, which proves steamy in the extreme, occasionally bordering on deep purple. Both leads are strong, and Frank grants her hero a refreshing measure of insight into the relationship. Jacquelyn Frank lives in Saugerties, New York, and has been writing romantic fiction ever since she picked up her first teen romance at age 13.     Loved it, but couldn't done without the recaps

    Okay, I know she probably put all the old info in just in case someone read from somewhere else but the beginning. It was like that in the 2nd book too, but as you can imagine, as the get into the series, there's more to recap. Anyway, I loved loved loved Elijah. It was like I was imprinted with him, lol! The author does a really good job at describing his feelings along with the other characters. I like this book and this series because it dives in to the type of romance and understanding of our significant others that we crave but sometimes fall short. This book is hot like the other two with quite a bit of humor. I found myself smiling as I was reading. Elijah is pretty funny and somewhat like the typical male until he shares his emotions with the woman he is matched with (I won't say who for those who may not have guessed). I already started reading Damien and can't wait for more info on the traitors!

    LOVE, LOVE, LOVE

    This series keeps getting better with each book, moving on to number four and can honestly not say which is my favorite, the men are all just too fine, the women are strong and independent, looking forward to reading Noah's story, glad that Ruth is gone, your next Mary.

    I love love love love this book!

    I became a big fan of Jacquelyn Frank because of this book!! Elijah was my favorite hero out of the Nightwalker Series! But the whole series is amazing! Highly recommend!

    Highly Recommend

    I would highly recommend this book to anyone who likes to read these kinds of books. It is a great series and i have been reading a lot of these types of series and it is probably one of my favorites.

    Got to read

    Just finish this one and now have started Damien love this series. The strong women characters and the sassy come back to the males is just great. Spend just as much time laughing and crying. The plots are are great and exciting to read.
