In the Demonica timeline, it falls between book 3, Passion Unleashed, and book 4, Ecstasy Unveiled, though it can easily be read without having read the Demonica novels.

Larissa Ione is the USA Today and New York Times bestselling author of the Demonica series. Her alter ego, Sydney Croft (pen name with romantic suspense author Stephanie Tyler), writes erotic paranormal action-adventure.

An Air Force veteran, she has been a meteorologist, EMT, and professional dog trainer. She is now lucky enough to write full time while living a nomadic lifestyle with her U.S. Coast Guard husband, son, and an extremely high-maintenance, spoiled-rotten cat.

When not writing, she can be found reading, playing RPG's on the computer, and watching re-runs of Star Trek, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Supernatural.

    Is a very short book all of 109 pages overall was a good book but not recommended for anyone whos under the age of 18

    Loved It!

    I love this author and own everyone of her books! This book was great, of course i wish there was more, but thats expected with short stores....they leave you wanting more!

    Short but never put it down.

    Larissa ione is one of my favorite authors. Her stories of each and every main or sub characters captures my attention as if im apart of their crazy underworld lives. I suggest anybody who purchases this will be extremely happy with the main product for the side story that it is.

    Good book, but too short

    This was a good book but as soon as you got into it to really get to know the charaters it ended. Would have rather have read more Besides it being short I love reading books by Larissa Ione.

    Nice quick read

    This is a stand alone novella. If you love the demonica series and need a stand in until the next book is out, then you should read this book. This book is actually from the slayers perspective but it draws you in and you end of rooting for the "bad guys."

    Quick Read

    I thought it was a good book. I didn't know how the author was going to incorporate the characters - but in the end it worked out. Besides it was a novella which only took about an hour or so to read. For the price - can't beat it.
