Flesh traders kidnap daughters of the wealthiest people in the world, ship them secretly to Australia, brainwash, terrorise and sell them as sex slaves in an exclusive underwater resort. Only ex-detective Ben Hood could accidently stumble into an operation so sinister. They know he knows. They are hunting him. Only a crazy man would attempt to rescue any of these girls. Ben is a bit crazy.

Flesh Trades is an action packed edge of your seat thriller, featuring the charasmatic Ben Hood. This book is the third in the Ben Hood Thriller Series and I think is the best one so far.
All the characters are genuine and likeable and the story holds the readers interest at all times. I couldn't put it down.
I would certainly love to visit one of these underwater resorts but not under the same circumstances as these poor girls.
A fantastic read, which I would happily give more than 5 stars if I could. Well done Drew Lindsay.

This book is a simple action thriller with a mystery that’s usually not a mystery. I read this book and proceeded to read every Ben Hood book written by this author. These books should be treated like candy, one now and then. Reading them all in a row made them predictable and made Ben look like a comic book hero. I can’t say I didn’t like them, I did but when I went back to reading something a little more complex I was surprised that my brain had gotten so lazy. The characters are good with plenty of room for growth and I look forward to reading about Ben Hood in the future. I hope that the story lines become more intricate. This author has the ability to put together some really exciting books.

Great action packed and exciting adventure. Loved finding out more about Ben's boss, Rodney. Ben should have accepted the island. He might be able to finally get away from it all ... nah, ain't gonna happen. ;-)

Really enjoyed the book. Would like better proof reading. I have found that several of the books I have purchased really need better proof reading. Some of the errors almost cause the reader to lose track of the storyline. Would be 4 stars with better proofing.

This is the third book in the series. The author improves with each book written. I felt Ben got out of trouble too easily and the ending felt like a lead in for the next book. This is the lightest of the 3 stories. Well worth reading.

Needed some editing, Action packed, reminded me of an older series by John D. Macdonald, his Travis McGee series. I liked this book. I liked the friends working together. Some parts did not fit quite right, but the details, characters and plot made up for it. I had my husband read this and he said it was a five star book. So perhaps it is more for the adult male readership. Because of the subject matter, I would not recommend to readers younger then 18. I would read more books about Ben Hood.

Book 3 in the series however, it is a complete novel on its own and no need to read the other two, unless you enjoy good novels. Serious topic with humor, lots of action with a well balanced and good plot.

Reading book three. I enjoy the books. Have fun reading. Yes better proof reading would be helpful. Mixed up words can be distracting. It is not so bad that you would go crazy over. Speed read over that stuff and enjoy the storyline.

Over all, I enjoyed the book. BUT, I felt like the path laid out for Ben to come to the rescue was just too easy in some ways. It seemed like the bad guys were just too easy to defeat in this one and there was little need for Ben to scramble too hard. Give Ben more of a challenge like in Black Mountain Affair!
