This book is made of chapters of other books. So it's really a book sampler with 8 samples.

Well done sampler (should be advertised that way though). Provides little author and story summaries along with two chapters from each book. The stories themselves are pretty good- they include enough of the story to get you intrigued.

The stories, they are parts of the stories, interesting for sure but it takes cantent from the MIDLE OF THE BOOK i would have liked it better if it had the first chapters.

Excerpts from several youth books will give you a taste of what young people's fantasy consists. Most of the presented samples are interesting and original. Worth a look and who knows? Perhaps you will find some of these stories worth following up - there really isn't much difference between adult stories and well-written youth stories. Basically, in good fiction, the major difference is the age of the protagonist.
