    I Also Recommend:

This is a great book for early readers. My son who is 6 years of age and I enjoyed the journey that the Grasshopper took in each chapter. Each chapter had great lessons behind them and opened up different conversation topics to learn from.

The first time that my son and I read this book was at his doctors office; in the room waiting to be seen. When I read each characters quotes I animated my voice which in turned had us in tears laughing. We were laughing very loud that we had nurses come in and check on us. My son was disappointed that we weren't able to finish the entire book. Once we got home I placed the order to purchase it. This has now became one of our top favorite books to read before bed. My son enjoys this book so much that he's excited to read the book each night. It also helped speed up his reading fluency and reading speed since he enjoys the book that much. Now we quote the book when we wake up in the morning. Or even when we are out on our journey and we see insects, fruit, boats or whatever it is that is related to the book. Thank you for this book not only has it inspired my son to read more but also given him more interest in reading other books. He now wants to find more books to read at the book store to add to his collection at home.
