Hard Ever After is a wonderful wrap it up story for all the couples we’ve encounter so far in the Hard Ink Series. It’s the big wedding for Nick and Becca, but just when you thought it would be happily ever after a ghost from their past comes back to haunt them. Seductively sexy, this series knows how to bring more than just steam. Action intense, witty and all around fabulous reads, the Hard Ink series shouldn’t be missed. I receive this ARC copy of Hard Ever After from Avon in exchange for a honest review.

I absolutely loved this addition to the Hard Ink Series. What a wonderful story! Nick and Becca were my favorite couple of the series so I was so excited to learn the novella would be about them. Nick is charming and beyond sexy. Becca is sweet and loyal. Their love and chemistry is undeniable. We follow the couple as they get into a regular life routine after all of the tragedy and drama Nick and Becca and the rest of his team have faced. This is such a great group of people, I adored being part of their lives one last time. As you can expect from the series there is some suspense to go with the romance. Laura Kaye gives closure to the fans of the series. The HEA was just perfect. RECEIVED AN ARC IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW.

Hard Ever After by Laura Kaye is the absolute perfect ending to the Hard Ink Series (assuming this is the end). I had so much fun with the characters as they were on the other side of their quest for answers. It was the time to get their lives back and live a normal life. Not a life on lock-down and always watching for bad guys. It was time for Becca and Nick’s wedding! Kaye has really done a phonemoneal job with the Hard Ink Series. I love the balance of romance, suspense and smoking hot scenes she writes in her stories. Like the other books, Hard Ever After was a page turner for me. I hung on every word the characters spoke and felt like I was one of them. Even though Nick and Becca were in the other books in the series, it was like coming home to read a book where they were the main characters again. Of course, the Hard Ink guys had one more loose end to tie up before they could all truly move on with their Happy Ever After and Kaye did not disappoint with this story line. She provided a realistic plot that had me looking over my shoulder at times while reading the story. The way it played out mingled with the rest of the story so well and in the end there Becca (and the rest of us) were given the much needed closure. I couldn’t have imaged a better ending to it all. If you have read the other books in the Hard Ink series, you must give Hard Ever After a read. You will find yourself laughing with the characters, squirming a little during the sexy scenes, wanting to protect Becca with the rest of the gang and shedding a tear at a very beautiful wedding. Give this book and the rest of the series a try. You will love it.

AMAZING...... That sums up this whole series. I loved all of the characters, but Nick Rixey, Ooh, and Becca will always be my favorites. It was only fitting that they were the start of the Hard Ink family and that they ended the series with their Happily-Ever-After.

You ever finish a book or series and wonder what happens next? Well Laura Kaye does just that in Hard Ever After. In what she calls 'her love letter to the fans' she does just that but being Hard Ink you know something happens. Just when they thought it was safe to get married Nick and Becca have something from the past show it's head threatening their happily ever after. It typical Hard Ink fashion the whole team gathers round to figure out what the problem is and fix it in time. This was the cherry on top of the sundae that was the Hard Ink Series.

5 star I was pulled right into this story. The story flowed and kept you interested. If you have not read the below books from this series I would highly recommend that you do: Hard as It Gets (Hard Ink, #1) Hard as You Can (Hard Ink, #2) Hard to Hold on To (Hard Ink, #2.5) Hard to Come By (Hard Ink #3) Hard to Be Good (Hard Ink, #3.5) Only, Always, Forever (Hard Ink, #3.6) Hard to Let Go (Hard Ink #4) Hard as Steel (Hard Ink, #4.5) This is more of Becca and Nick’s story. The team is finally out of danger and ready to get to work. The guys are all working on getting the security company up and running. Becca is heading back to the ER. Only problem is the last time she was there she was attacked. She is worried about being scared. But keeping it to herself just might be a mistake. Can Nick figure out what is wrong with Becca before she get hurt or even more afraid? Is the danger for these men and woman really over? Or is there just one more loose end to tie up? All they need is one wedding to go off without a hitch. Can they do it? I loved all the characters in this series. It’s great to see how the other couples are doing from the earlier books. I highly recommend this book, this series and can’t wait for the next story from this author.

I have read all the books in this series and loved every single one. I loved this book and was really glad to catch up on how everyone was doing after the constant conflicts of the previous months. I really look forward to more in the Hard and Raven series.

*Advanced Readers Copy received in exchange for an honest review* I absolutely loved this novella… it was sweet and romantic but also filled with so much emotion and suspense. Now I did not expect this when I finished with this series. I mean the series ended with a happy ever after but I always wonder how their story continued so these little novellas is what I live and breathe for. I absolutely loved this little novella and I would easily reread this book. Now this book is all about Nick and Becca. The fight they had so far is officially over and Becca is going back to work. Little did she know that she might have gotten some PTSD after being attacked at the hospital. Nobody knew that she had PTSD until later. She was doing okay back at her job but she thought she kept seeing the guy who attacked her. Nick did not want to live another day not being married to Becca so he decided to make them both a happy by asking her to marry him. He asked her to marry him in the best way possible. He asked her in his unique style. Only, always, forever is what they keep saying to each other it means everything to them and I just love their relationship like this. Their relationship is what I aspire to because between hard and tough times they still ended up together and they just gotten stronger by the second. Now this is just a perfect addition to this series with a perfect balance between romance and sweetness and also got some danger as expected by the Hard Ink series. Even though Hard to Let Go ended with a happy ever after, Nick and Becca still had to fight for their happy ever after and let me tell you they fought hard for that. Anyway like I said it is a perfect addition to the series. It was sweet and sexy and it left me smiling for hours after I finished this novella. I highly recommend you read this book but you need to read the series’ first before you read this book.

5 Hard-Loving Stars “Because hard is good.” “You make me fall in love with you a little more every day. You know that?” Laura Kaye definitely proves that quote true with this love letter for the Hard Ink fans!! That’s what this was to me at least, and she says that she did indeed write this for the fans. Wow. Wow. Wow! This series kept me on the edge of my seat from the start and I held on til the end of this amazing happily ever after! I’m so glad that the story brought us back to where we began with Nick and Becca! These two are the center of it all and rightfully so, because even though they’ve always been present in the remainder of the series we really get to see them living for their future here. “The best way to fight back the darkness is with love and light. The best way to cheat death is to live life with no regrets, holding nothing back, just throwing yourself in to the messy, vibrant, unexpected beauty of it.” However, what would a Hard Ink story be without a little suspense and a whole lotta love and laughter thrown in for good measure! Loved seeing the peaks at all the other Hard Ink crew as well! So much to love about this series and while I’m happy with the ending, I will definitely miss this crew and hope that we get a few peeks at them now and again in the spin-off, Raven Riders series. Hint. Hint.

So glad to see everyone from Hard Ink again! I love these characters so much. I loved reading Nick & Becca's wedding story. I wondered where the conflict would come from - and it was perfect. I love how Laura Kaye writes such strong female characters. This book was a great revisit to Hard Ink and everyone you fell in love there. I am hoping we will see some of them in the upcoming Raven Riders series!!
