May be the best of the series!

I have read all the books in the Jenny Pox series, so I was extremely excited when I heard Bryan had another coming out and Jenny Plague-Bringer didn't disappoint! Bryan's crisp writing style, his wonderful descriptions and his story flow make reading this a pleasure! Wow!!!! Just...wow!!! This story takes off near where Alexander Death leaves off. New characters are added, making my stomach flutter in anticipation. This story wouldn't let me put it down, it grabbed my attention and never let it go... I recommend it for everyone who loves YA Paranormal!! I loved the other books Bryan wrote in this series, and they just kept getting better. This new installment is fantastic!!! WELL DONE, JL!!!!

I was so excited when I heard that J.L. Bryan was writing anothe

I was so excited when I heard that J.L. Bryan was writing another book about Jenny and the paranormals. After reading Alexander Death, I so wanted to hear more of the story, more about Tommy and Esmeralda, and more about all of their past lives. Jenny Plague-Bringer delivered on all points. I loved how the book seamlessly moved between current day and Jenny and Seth's most recent past life. Some authors cannot do this without creating a disruption in the story, but J.L. Bryan nailed it. Everything fit naturally, and the parallels in the storyline really helped to tie the past to the present. I enjoyed getting to hear more about the past lives of some of the departed paranormals as well, sometimes getting to see another side of the paranormals that I hadn't seen before.

This book was an emotional roller coaster ride for me. The twist ending blew my mind. It was such a beautiful and fitting ending to the series. Not that I want it to end, as I'd still love to have more, be it past lives or stories of other paranormals. The universe of this series is busting with possibilities. I highly recommend this entire series to anyone who loves horror/thrillers and supernatural stories.

I am so glad that I heard about J.L. Bryan and this series, and now I plan to pick up his other books to read.

Amazing series. Leaves you breathless and hungry for more!

I just finished reading Jenny Plague-Bringer and honestly I'm at a loss for words. It was incredible. The whole series was nothing short of incredible. I had no way of knowing what was in store for me when I purchased Jenny Pox back in 2009 so all I can say now is how grateful I am, that I did find your book. The whole concept of this series is beyond intriguing, beyond sensational and beyond entertaining! The way you tied the characters together, the way that you wrote them into eachother's lives over and over again, book by book, present and past... simply put, was captivating. More than any other book I've probably ever read in my 27 years, I hope to live long enough to someday see Jenny pox made into a movie saga, because in my opinion, J.L Bryan's books are destined for the screen. Thank you so much for releasing Jenny Pox and most of all, for finishing the Paranormals story. At the moment I can't think of a single book that brings me as much contemplation and reflection as I got reading 1-4 of the Paranormals. My goal is to someday get my husband to read these books because he's not much of a reader and I think Jenny Pox could be 'that book' that changes everything. I will continue to recommend your books time and time again and I look forward to re-reading them over and over again myself. Thank you, thank you!!! P.s I know I've wrote you regarding this before on your facebook page but if you ever happen to have the opportunity, please consider having The Jenny Pox series made into audio book format ;) Brittany

This series was so much more than I thought it would be. Loved how the author used history to weave his story full circle. Must read!
