Meet the Author

Mark Stewart is an acclaimed author. He loves to write fiction right across the board from romance adventure to crime and onwards to science fiction. His fast paced novels will keep you on the edge of your seat from the first word to the last. Mark lives in Melbourne Australia and tries to keep to the Aussie lingo and customs. His only gripe is he never has enough time to feed the writing enthusiasm inside him. Mark lives in the picturesque region of the Mornington Peninsula, a full one hour drive from Melbourne. He's been married to his wonderful patient wife for over thirty years. He has four adult children and two grand children. Everywhere he looks there's a story waiting to be told. Contact Mark to leave a comment about one of his books or just to say gidday, (hi) he'd love to hear from you. email: mark_stewart777@hotmail.com All reviews are gratefully accepted. Less than 9 pages. Not good.

Yes-- the story is very short -- but this writer says more in 9 pages than most do in 90

Touching romance flash fiction with an unexpected surprise at the end.

Yes it's a short tale but it tells us quite a bit with feeling. Good job.

There are only 8 pages in this short story. I hated it. Why do some authors think stories of this ilk are entertaining? I like stories which make me feel good or make me think. This one does neither and was sad and upsetting. It is well edited and has a good flow. It is a clean, without cursing or sex. For ages 16 and up. AD

Kate had not seen her husband for 4 years because he was at War. She had a son named Karl. Her father had lived with them. She was looking at a black dot towards the end of the story. But she couldn't tell if it was a man or a women. He walked with a limp and a hunched shoulder's. It was not Ben. But it was Ben after all in this story. I enjoyed this short story. ShelleyMA
