Overview

This is a never-before-published erotic romance novella from New York Times bestselling author, Anya Bast. This story is highly erotic and is M/F/M, meaning two men, one woman. All the focus is on her. Light BDSM.

Kaitlyn leads a regular life in a normal town, until one day the force of an unknown connection pulls her into an alternate reality. On the flip side of the veil Kaitlyn finds herself in the hands of two powerful dire wolf shifters, Rafian and Lucas, who tell her she is their mate.

Lucas has lost everything to the Magica Hunters who want the Lycaon shifters driven from their world. He passionately craves Kaitlyn and must employ every ounce of his formidable control once she’s near enough to touch. Her presence soothes the pain of his past.

Rafian has experienced loss too, though his comes with a dark guilt that haunts him. His brand of loving involves rope and handcuffs, acts he knows Kaitlyn may not be ready for, but he has waited years for her and it’s difficult to master his desires.

Together, he and Lucas tempt Kaitlyn’s body with every erotic move they have to make, while they stealthily seduce her heart. They make her see them for who they truly are--her perfect matches in every way.

Lucas and Rafian awaken emotion and passion in Kaitlyn that she’s never known, but the weight pulling at her from the other side of the veil is formidable. Will she be able to stay with the men she loves?

Editorial Reviews

Grete B.
“Being a novella, Anya needed to cover a lot of ground introducing the story and characters quickly. She did that with remarkable skill... When it came to Kaitlyn's choice near the end, I got quite choked up. I was totally invested in Kaitlyn's character and Anya's writing allowed me to experience her emotion and anguish first hand... Keeping Kaitlyn combines well realised characters with an engaging story and some super erotic sex. Highly recommended!" -- Book Thing review blog
Bells H.
“The fantasy of having two lovers who cater to your every need is a win/win situation… The two male characters in this story are complete opposites and I couldn't wait to read more about them. Lucas has dark hair, tattoos, and an attitude. Total bad boy which I absolutely LOVE! Rafian is blonde, has an easy going disposition...but don't let that easy going disposition fool you...absolutely scorching…" -- Hanging with Bells review blog

Meet the Author

Anya Bast is the award winning author of numerous works of romantic fiction, mostly all paranormal and mostly all scorching hot. She lives in the country with her husband, daughter, seven cats and two dogs.

She grew up in Minnesota and still favors the colder climates. After high school she moved to the southeast United States where she attended college. While in graduate school she sold her first book and decided to pursue her lifelong dream of writing instead of a career in psychology.

Somewhat reclusive by nature, she can be drawn out with a good bottle of red wine, classic movies, or good music. When she's not writing, she can be found trying to grow organic vegetables, shopping in thrift stores for that perfect piece of clothing, or dreaming about travel to some faraway country.

She is the New York Times bestselling author of the Elemental Witches and Dark Magick series, and is now working on a new series. The Brotherhood of the Damned will feature immortal Viking warriors, demons, witches and more. Watch for the first book, Embrace of the Damned, to release from Berkley Sensation in May, 2012.

    Very good!

I thought this would be a little short story, but was pleasantly surprised when it was a full sized book. It was a fun, engaging story and I enjoyed it alot. I wish there had been a little more character development for the guys and a little more of a glimpse into the alternate world, but since this is the first book in a series maybe that will develop a little with each book. If you like menage with a little paranormal thrown in, this is one to try! Very good!
