When Mrs. Norland, an aged resident of Stastas Lodge, thrusts upon Kate Oksa, a young high school dropout, the care of a sickly kitten, Kate has no idea that it will change her life. She starts to experience epileptic seizures during which she's propelled back in time to relive violent episodes in the lives of residents of the old age home.
