Overview

His spying career is over and the time has arrived for the Duke of Sutherlin to marry. But Radford is not certain he can find a hot-blooded lady like his ex-spying friends from the Archangels.

However, never daunted, he concocts a plan to find a lusty woman to marry by betting himself in marriage on the books at White's. He is a Duke after all, therefore making him any English lady's prize and hopefully sending them in amorous pursuit of him.

But what he does not expect is the feminine artifice of Lady Nia O'Shea when she sets her witty, seductive, and scheming sights on him. But all is not what it seems and the plot and carnal play advance into lively adventures in and out of bed. HEA m/f sexually exciting

Fallen Angel Review: The characters of Radford and Nia are well matched; both are well rounded, and have distinct personalities that are very appealing to the reader. The supporting cast, including the heroes and heroines from the previous installments in the series, are quite amusing in their antics. The love scenes are very explicit and sexy, and depict a man and woman in a loving relationship. I was definitely entertained by this novella, and would recommend it to my friends.

An intriguing and sexy read When Radford sets off to find a bride he is arrogant and a bit of a male chauvinist, but his attitude is turned upside down by the fiery Lady Nia. This tough ex-spy never dreamed he would ever be whipped by woman, but Nia is no ordinary woman. So who has it out for Radford? Is this some cruel prank gone to far or something more sinister? I don’t want to ruin anything but let’s just say things get quiet interesting as the mystery unfolds. I really enjoyed reading this novel and getting to know the characters. The erotic scenes are frequent and very hot and the storyline is interesting and captivated my attention. If the other Archangel books in this series are as hot as this one I will definitely check them out. I will recommend this book to my friends, especially one who I know loves historical romances.

This is part of a series of six stories about the Archangels, a group of spies. The writing is fair, the mistakes in spelling and punctuation are myriad, but the story is good. Lord Radford wants to find the perfect wife, so he places a bet in the book at White's. Nia places her own bet, that she will have him "bridled and bedded" shortly. However, Nia is taking instructions from a mystery man for enough money to take care of her family. Discovering who the mystery man is makes the story more interesting. While a good proofreader would have come in handy for all of this author's books, if mistakes don't bother you, you might want to give them a try. They are very steamy but good stories.
