In the last book of the steamy SUMMER BOYS series, Beth, Ella, and Kelsi are back in Pebble Beach for a summer to remember.

Beth and George are becoming friends, even though they are exes. Some people are just meant to be friends, but is there more to it?

Kelsi and Bennett are truly in love except for the whole long-distance thing. Can Bennett have the internship that he wants -- and the girl? Or is it not possible to have both?

Ella finally gets to see her own long-distance boyfriend, Jeremy, all the time and not just on weekends. But Peter, her old hookup, is bothering her a little too much.

This is a fun summer beach read, but the ending is kind of sad. At the same time, though, it also has a good twist and is really unexpected. LAST SUMMER really is the last good romance of the summer.

Great Bedtime Read

I love reading this book over and over...especially before bed time.

I strated out not liking to read at all , but now at 15 it's my favorite hobbie. Hailey Abbott is one of my favorite authors for the reason of this series. out of the four books this happened to be my all time favorite. I could really relate to the books and characters in them. I reccommend this to anyone that wantes to get into a book they just can't let go of. The series and story are amazing and you just want to know what happens next!

Awesome Book

Last Summer is a book about three girls; Kelsi, Ella, and Beth, who return to Pebble Beach for the last time. Ella's relationship struggles with Kelsi, her sister. Kelsi and her boyfriend, Bennett try to have a long-distance relationship, which ends up making Bennetts decision to choose between Kelsi and his new job offer even more difficult. Beth and her ex-boyfriend, George, try to just be friends, but when Beth's new boyfriend decides that George wants Beth back he tell her that he's not comfortable with George around.
Ella and Kelsi's friend, Taryn, do not get along. Ella feels that Taryn is stealing Kelsi from her. I found the non-relationship between them mean and bitter, but that gave it an exciting edge. When Taryn starts sneaking around with both Ella's and Kelsi's ex-boyfriend, Ella feels somewhat jealous and tries to hide her past relationship from her current boyfriend, Jeremy. It was exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time.
Kelsi and Bennett have just taken their relationship to the next level but when Bennett excepts a summer internship in New York, he and Kelsi agree on a long-distance relationship. Things become strained but they still stay together. When Bennett gets offered a job he declines it just so he can be with Kelsi. This upsets her and she convinces him to take the job. My heart was pounding in my chest the whole time.
Beth and George have decided to keep things platonic, but when Beth's new boyfriend comes along and says that George is only hanging around because he wants Beth back, she suggests that they don't be friends anymore. But the tragic ending brings them together, Beth realizes that she can't be without him.
This book is great but it leaves you wondering what happened. Are George and Beth together? What happens with Kelsi and Bennett? What about Ella and Taryn? I do suggest reading this book. I could hardly put it down.

We want more!

I think my headline stands for many of us! I have to say my favorite character is Beth(seeing has i'm a tomboy too) but anyways, i would really like to know what happens to all of them!! Gahh its so aggervating that this was the last book and there was alot left untold!

this book was absolutely great. i want to know what happens to beth and george though... i strongly suggest it for any teen !

Last Summer

Last Summer is an incredible book. The setting is at the beach, which makes me love this book even more. The book relates to girls, so it makes it easy for me to understand where they are coming from. I must of read this book in two days. I couldn't stop reading it!

It was amazing!

I read the book within two days because i had other things to do in the mean time. The book, i seriously could not put down. I love Abbott writing and now I cannot wait to read more of her stuff. Last Summer was so good I wish there was more though. I couldn't believe that Jaime was going back packing through Europe.

Great Book.

I loved the Summer boys series so much, I don't think I've ever read books faster in my life. =) I'd previously seen these books numerous times before, and I never bothered to pick them up because I didn't think that I'd enjoy them that much. But when I finally picked up Summer boys the first in the series... I couldn't put it down! I read it within 3 days of buying and couldn't wait to go out and buy the next one. Then I borrowed the 3rd from a friend and finished it earlier tonight- I loved it too just as I did the first and second. Now I have to wait til' tommorow to get the final one from my friend to read! I can't wait to start it. This is a great series of books =)

Amazingg

I have read the whole series except last summer but I am dying to start reading it. My friend and I can't stop talking about the summer boys series. I am recommending it to all my friends. I hope she writes more books like these. =]

i love this book. but kelsi was def. not my favorite person and that friend of hers no way but i sure did love ella i dont know why but she was just captivating these books are highly recommended.

Fabulous!

I have read all of the summer boys novels and i loved them.I am very disapointed that this is the last book in the series. This book wasnt as suspensful and exciting as the other three but it was deffinitly worth reading. The ending was not what i expected at all! I was so happy how it ended with George and Beth.I hope they get back together. Hopefully she will come out with another book. I recommend these books to everyone!!!

Great, with a kink tho.

i love the Summer Boys novels, i just wish this wasn't the last one in the series. the only problem i thought it had was that it left so much more to be told! I mean for the last book it in the series it left a HUGE opening there at the end!

b4 i say anything i want to tell everyone that i actually counted down te days until this one would come into stores!!!! bc i lovvvevvveeeeeeee hialey abbotts sumer boys novels thay are ammaaazzziinnngg!!!!!! even thought this was a little dissapionting considering the endding and that its actually the last one witch i still cant bring myself to believe!! i loved it though bc once you read all 4 of them there is noooooo wayy u can not like them and i don think that any of them are a waste of money or time!! i recomend this series toooo everyone!!!!

OK, but not great

I LOVE THESE BOOKS i remember when i first read the first one last summerand ever since the day these came out i bought them and read them as soon as possible!! i love them but she just left me hanging i have so many questions! will we never find out what happend about gorge and beth! are they together! they have to be together!! this cant be the last one! hopefully there will be another one maybe that shows these charectures that we all love into th future a few years!
