Meet the Author

I write about people, their relationships and the dynamics within. I feature my work on website conversantwoman.com

I enjoy illustrating the wide range of emotions experienced in life by people of both genders and the permutations of social and personal cultural influences. I like to reach out and to make contact with readers walking beside them and not leaving them before I have evoked within them thought provoking emotions strung between tragedy and joy. I am a person touched by the irony of life and human frailty. Writing is as much a need for me as a want. I find myself traversing internalised continents exploring the complexities of life.

Sometimes I have experienced life to be hard hitting, startling and scary which is true for so many people. I love my family and enjoy reading, gardening, painting and travelling.

I loved this short story. It's amazing that somebody could write my feelings. I could feel her pain in every word. It may be short, but it really packs a punch. I think I'll see what else this woman has written, I'm now a fan.

You get to know both of them in the story

I dont think Ive ever felt my heart breaking for a fictional character before now. Amazing short story of about 50 intense pages. You can truly feel the anguish of the main character. Well written. My only complaint is the constant changing of font sizes was a bit distracting. Will look for more from this author.

Very short but intense! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this. Suzanne was able to express such raw emotions clearly! I was able to feel her pain.

This story is mercifully short: a painful story told with such poor grammar, it's doubly hard to read. I didn't feel drawn to either of the main characters, much as I wanted to root for the wronged wife.
