This was the first Bertrice Small I ever read.
The characters are so alive and realistic. Female and Male alike are
    pridefull, arrogant, domineering, and foolish.

The book is historicaly iluminating. Filled of adventure. love, lust, and courage.
The story is saturated with all forms of passion. This book is quite erotic.

    Highly Recommended!!!

I have read almost all of Bertrice Small's books. I started them in the late 70's early 80's. As they came out, I would buy them and read them. She is without a doubt my favorite author. I am now re-reading the O'Malley series, just finished book 5. If possible, I love them even more now than the first time.

An enthralling adventure covering half the world

This is yet another book on my Great Books List. Valentina's determination, courage, intelligence and beauty will captivate readers. Her search for her true father strikes a chord in me. Her romantic adventures in the midst of her turmoil are at once poignant, witty and daring. I first read this book in Jr. High, and it remains one of my favorites. Bertrice Small, this is another winner!

Conn's Daughter is a Lively Addition to the O'Malley Saga

Valentina St. Michels is a fiesty new comer to this family. She unknowingly follows in the footsteps of Conn's big sister, Skye and her own mother Aidan. Although she's in a book, she's not just another character. She comes at you with this no nonsense, unstoppable aura and you find yourself the number one fan in her cheering section. Romance is secondary to this vixen although she has her pick of the litter. Valentina is one of a kind in this another great romance by Bertrice Small.

'Journey from Elizabeth's england, to the erotic east, in search of identity and love.' Beatrice does it again!

I first read this book in high school. It's still one of my favorites, MS. Small takes you to a tropical island, lush and lusty. To a harem in the sultry Far East. Each location brings yet another adventure in love and life. Valentina is truly her mother and father's daughter. And another beatrice small she-ro!
