This book was definitely different, the characters did jump into a relationship rather fast, but they were animalistic characters so instinct explained their actions. I thought the author was creative in that she followed "monsters" and didnt romanticize them into being sweet and endearing creatures that had to change their ways to have love. They remained vicious throughout which was a good thing I think.

I love Pennelope's ability to take something unusual and not normally considered beautiful and give it life, love, romance, and make it the focal point of your day. I will warn though - heavy on the romance and intimacy if youre not into that sort of thing.

Penelope Fletcher writes with such description and strength that you can easily picture the creature she has created even though NO ONE else has made one like it before. This is paranormal fiction, but there are no vampires or werewolves or ghosts. No, she designed a new breed that you will adore and by the end of the book yearn for more.
The book is not for the faint of heart gore-wise but the glory in the creature is worth it! Finally something new, something fabulously feminine, something strong and voracious. Overall, a delight.
I want to tell you more, but I wouldn’t want to spoil anything about it for you. It’s so refreshing to get a new character that I want you to have that experience when reading it.
Content is adult both in guts as well as sexual content.

Sexual content, yes, but it's so intriguing that you can't put the dang book down! So furious & animalistic, you will fall in love with Luke & Eva!! Lots of twists & turns, when you least expect it.

I liked the monsters but couldnt finnish too much romance, the story was great i even tryd to skip the corney gushy stuff but too much to bother with

This story is perfect, I especially find it uniquely written. I have not ever read about Wendigo's in any other book about supernatual beings....impressive!! Penelope is absolutely one of my favorite authors. Each one of he stories has a unique twist to it, her characters are all suprisingly different from eachother, no two alike. Thank you Penelope for your amazing tales!
