Although there are a lot of pictures of women in a piece of cloth (or not even that), I really enjoy this magazine. I am a bit of a guy's girl, so I enjoy reading the articles that tend to have more of a focus on things that men think about. My guy thinks it is great that there is a magazine that he can read too!

I'm a Photography Major who is constantly looking for a magazine with great photography and something witty to read. I had a ipad with the nook app and decided to give this magazine a try three months ago. I have to say, the photography is very nice. Its great to see very attractive women without the whole extreme blond hair and a novel amount of plastic surgeries. The women look healthy, they photograph lovely, and they really have personality. As a woman, it doesn't offend me to the least, that's the best part.

This is a decent magazine, with tantalizing photos of ok-looking women. It works well on the NOOKcolor so I'm keeping the e-subscription.

Wasn't so sure about magazines on the Nook, but after trying it I think I prefer this options because of the well-categorized layout and ease of finding anything in the issue. Only drawback noticed after a few days of use is a lack of an option to read back issues.

Tried this on Nook color. 1. The pages don't fit on the screen. 2. If it's a 2-page item in the print edition, it's two pages on the screen, rather than change the aspect ratio of the article's cover. It does go two-page if you turn the Nook sideways, but then the text is so small you can't read anything. 3. There is NO extra content (no video or anything else in the electronic version) Ultimately, this looks like something that was put together at the last minute with no planning or thought in a desperate attempt to "have something out there" rather than make a real effort to bring a unique experience to the reader. All in all, a disappointment.

The change to a female editor and a new format has resulted in something that I refuse to pay for. I have been a long time reader and a long time subscriber until today that is. The latest issue with "The hot 100", is the nail in the coffin. An explanation of why looks don't matter and an essay by a feminist, well you now lost a long time reader. This was a great GUY magazine, now it resides somewhere between hipster and feminist. Great job at alienating your core demographic.

The cover would lead you to believe the magazine showcases beautiful women. Not so any more. I just dropped my subscription.

went from being a fun waste of an hour to pretentious drivel in one month. Cancel subscription

I love Maxim. The articles are entertaining and informative. It works well and looks great on the nook. I just wish that I could also read it on my wife's iPad so we didn't have to take both with us on road trips

I can no longer read the paper copy of the magazine. Its not only easier to find articles but it has better quality pictures and easier to read the articles too.

As many others have said, this used to be an interesting men's magazine. Now it is mostly just advertising and nothing worth reading. Not many good pictures any more either...

Bought a magazine. Charged my credit card $4.32 twice. Called, used chat, emailed, over and over and over. Wasted lots of time on this NOOK Scam. Stay away. They will overcharge you and you will never get a refund and all customer service does is pass the buck. Finally had to file a dispute with my credit card company. Lesson learned. Buy the magazine off the rack at the airport. Nook is a scam!!!
