Maybe Preliminary Reviews:

“I couldn’t put it down. As always, the action, plot, and jaw-dropping surprises hooked me. But what kept me turning the pages is Creed’s quirkiness, and his trademark banter. Locke fans are going to love this latest installment in the Creed series.”

“In Maybe, Locke has done something many contemporary authors refuse to do: move the series forward! He ties all the unanswered questions into a nice big bow, just in time for the holidays.”

“Filled with endless surprises, Locke has another sure-fire hit with his newest offering, Maybe.”

    Meh

I think his plots have potential, but his style of writing leaves a lot to be desired. I feel like every thought or sentance out of Creeds mouth should have been followed by a rim shot. I would rather read books with substance to the story.

Ummm, WOW! I probably put this in all of my reviews of John Locke's books, but I really did not see most of these plot twists coming! One new door would open, knocking me for a shocker and then, POW, out from left field would come something totally unexpected. I don't know how the author keeps this story line straight in his head, but somehow he does and at the end it just all comes together like a beutifully choreographed finale I could never have imagined. John Locke's books get better and better, the character development is more intriguing in each book and the reader is always guarenteed a huge basket of surprises! Again, Locke leaves me wanting more Creed, and I just put this one down last night. Can't wait for the next installment!!

This is really just a rewriting of a Frank Herbert's book The White Plague... same concept, just focuses on action more.
