Okay way to end the series

I expect Lora Leigh's books to be super sexy but also have a little something extra as well. Since this was an installement of the Nauti series with the MacKays, I thought there would be a lot more action. It took a little while to get to the really good parts. Though Zeke and Rogue's background was given in the previous books, I was expecting a little more about these two.

    Could have been better

Maybe it's that I've read too many of her books, but I felt like this book one was one of her worsts. The age difference between Rogue and Zeke was eleven years, something that was emphasised throughout the story. Not too mention in the last addition with Alec and Janey. The characters weren't nearly as developed as in her previous novels and I felt as if it were almost a whirlwind romance. The sex scenes were nothing too get worked up over - although, they were still steaming hot - they weren't up to Miss Leigh's level. Overall, although it wasn't her best work, it was still loads better than some other 'romance' novels out there. It's a solid three.

    heated romantic suspense

Caitlyn Lena Rogue Walker relocated from Boston to Pulaski County, Kentucky when she accepted a teaching position. However, she lost her job four years ago when she defended an innocent student leading to her being drugged with pictures of her in scandalous positions. Her so-called sexual improprieties led to Principal Thompson with vindictive school board siblings Grace and Mackay pushing him into firing her. Rather than flee back to New England she became a kick butt bar owner concealing her virginity. The pictures end up on the Internet.

Sheriff Zeke Mayes is attracted to her, but believes not only is she hiding something with her acerbic exterior, but he is too old for her as he assumes his hard core desires will send her running back to New England faster than the Derby is run. Still he owes her from when she lost her teaching position defending his son four years ago that led to the scandal. However, his biggest hesitation is his fear for her safety which comes from the white supremacist group who killed his mom and spouse; and whom he is investigating.

The return to Somerset (see Nauti Dreams) is a heated romantic suspense thriller starring a tough lead female who when her family's enemies destroyed the reputation of Caitlyn Walker they failed to comprehend how strong "Rogue" is. Zeke has more issues than Rogue so she has her work cut out to win his soul; she has his heart. Although overwhelmed with action that leaves the plot fast-paced and fun but emaciated, readers who relish plenty of fisticuffs and shooting disputes will enjoy fight nights in Kentucky.

I hope this book does not complete our adventures into the world of Nauti

I loved all of the books in the Nauti series, you can't help but fall for the bad boy Mackays and their hot friends! I loved how the last 2 installments in the world of Nauti have danced around the issue of age. I was totally shocked by the ending of Rogue and Zeke's story but the baby they lit the pages up! This is a book for a cold snowy or gloomy rainy weekend you won't want to put the book down and a cold shower will be needed. The passion described and displayed WOW if only!

good story, saw a lot of typos

After reading the sample I was curious about what was gonna happen next. This story is steaming hot, and the mystery of the murders that were taking place kept me interested. My only complaint were the few typos that had me wondering how this book got published but I guess when your into the story u forget there was a mistake. Overall a good book to read on a rainy day, before you go to bed, or waiting in the doc office.

    Smoldering Love Affair, Exciting Mystery

When Rogue Walker comes back to Somerset the sizzling attraction between her and Sheriff Zeke Mayes is evident and larger than life. He thinks she's too young and innocent for him but they can't keep away from one another. Through all of this there is someone killing people close to Rogue and Zeke knows she's in danger. Their relationship is hotter than hot and the mystery is very compelling. I wished that their characters were a little more well developed in the sense that I thought Rogue was a little too flippant and Zeke was not as forthcoming about his feelings as early on as I hoped. But it is a very exciting story, as smoldering as all of Lora Leigh's novels and I love the Nauti boy series. I didn't want to put it down until I knew the outcome. As I did with LL's Navy Seals series I wish this series would never end.

A nice ending to a great series!!

I was a little worried at first that I wouldnt like Zeke's story but I am happy to say that Lora Leigh did not disappoint! I love Rogue and Zeke and was thrilled to be able to hear their story. Zeke is a true Nauti boy himself and this book made me fall in love with him! I love this story because you think you have it all figured out then it turns on you! A must read for those of you that love the Nauty series. The only drawback is that you wish you could find out more about a few of the other characters....but a series cant go on forever! I love it! Take a break from the hustle of everyday life turn on your nook and be prepared to sweat, squirm, cry and laugh!

    Good read

Although this isn't one of her best books it does go well with the rest of the series. A little too much detail was given on the characters pasts that didn't really relate to the story. All in all a pretty good read but not one of her best books.

    Great Great Series

Lora does it again! This entire series is captivating and entertaining. Although, the plot is similar in all the books, you can't help but appreciate the independent vixens and the nauti boys that try to tame them and the ultimate happy endings. Zeke and Rogue are quite a pair.
Suprised who ended up being the bad guy, good twist. Great passion and romance. I look forward to reading Nauti and Wild. I wouldn't mind if Lora would grace us with a series about the Nauti Girls, would love to see Rowdy, Dawg and Natches be daddies and how they handle any nauti boys that would come calling.

    Loved it

I loved this book. In fact, the whole series is worth reading, if you get the chance. The sheriff didn't seem very appealing in the other series, but he takes center stage in this one. Rogue was a hottie. I loved her strong character. She's got balls and not afraid to use them--verbally and physically.

The plot was a good one. Although I suspected, I was surprised when the culprit was finally revealed. Good one! This book, along with the others in this series, was well worth reading. Some were more thrilling, sexier and dramatic than the others, but still very entertaining. These are very Nauti boys!

    Nauti Series

This latest book ikn the Nauti series was not as intense as the books preceding it but told a great story about a young woman whom many had labeled an outcast for reasons beyond her control. Rogue is an hard headed young woman who feels she must prove that she is strong enough to live in a mans world but has a soft heart that as hard as she tries to hide it, still shows.
