Meet the Author

A former SAR Research Fellow at the National Film & Sound Archive, Robert has a BA(Hons) in Film Study, a GRAD DIP (Information Study), and a GRAD CERT (TESOL). He is a member of ALIA (Australian Library and Information Association).


Professionally published in print by US scholarly giant McFarland, Robert branched into independent digital publishing shortly following Amazon's release of the Kindle. As publisher at Wider Screenings TM | Transgressor he designs and releases ebooks for local Australian authors, beginning in Adelaide, South Australia.


Though established on Smashwords, Kindle and the new XinXii self-publishing platforms, Robert also distributes through Lightning Source. He balances his time developing self-published projects, freelancing as a designer and independent digital publisher for other authors and developing interactive, scholarly, film review material.


Robert's interest in adult film and erotica has led to repeated entanglements with the popular press. Neverthless, he maintains an avowed, almost obsessive interest in the film analysis of adult X-rated erotic movies. This he hosts in tandem with much mainstream film writing on his website Wider Screenings TM, which also features complete details of his ebook publications, including multi-media versions unavailable on either Smashwords or Kindle. Interested readers are encouraged to visit the website for additional free intellectual content related to movies | ebooks | multimedia.
