Got this book for my son when he was 5 and got in trouble at school because he couldn't rhyme-all he wanted to read at time was children's encyclopedias and other nonfiction type books- nothing rhymed. He LOVED this book and could quote it from cover to cover within a week. Has Edgar Allen Poe rhythm that I enjoyed reading to and with him on:) 11 years later it is one of the few books he still has from those years and he can still quote it! Beautiful pictures and adorable story that has you laughing and chuckling clear through! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
