Overview

She needs a Dom with heart. He sees the lifestyle as heartless.

Can a brave submissive show a rock star that accepting his true nature will be nirvana for both of them? Letting go with her may help him put the pieces of himself-and his band-back together again.

Struggling with the death of her mother, Sage Lyndsey turned to her Dom for comfort, but his impatience led to a humiliating scene in front of their club. Devastated, she runs to a small town on the Cali coast. Buying into Citrus Pointe's bakery may be her best decision ever-if she can overcome the embarrassment of having her new landlord's dog steal her towel right in front of him. It gets worse when she realizes he's none other than rock bassist Hank Nash, and despite the problems it would cause, she wants nothing more than his talented hands on her, bending her to his will.

Hank is an ex-cop who knows all too well what dominance looks like when it turns to abuse-he saw the consequences on another cop's wife. After turning the man in, Hank left that life behind to start a rock band, Weekend Washout. Now he's fighting to keep the band together, and to deny his urge to dominate pretty, spunky Sage. But when Sage's ex-Dom reappears, Hank is forced into a life-changing decision: Accept both their needs and gain more than one night with Sage, or retreat to the safe life he's built so carefully?

Sage wanted the love and caring of the man she had submitted to, but he wasn't the right one for her; so she left to start a new life. Hank had dedicated himself to the LAPD following in his family's path, but it wasn't the right fit; so he followed the music in his soul and took to rock and roll. Caring friends brought her to share his home above the bakery she bought and growing love laced with passion and the help and guidance of his bandmate who she knew as Master V, helped them tear down the obstacles of their pasts to give them the most beautiful love story I have read In a long time. Romantic well written story of finding ones place in a D/s relationship.

Sage needs to be dominated and loved. Sage escapes to a small California town to get away from her abusive Dom. She buys the fruit and vegetable market that makes pastries and serves lunch to the tourists and locals where she can be the pastry chef she has trained for. She moves into the apartment above the market while the owner is on tour. Hank Nash has a big surprise when he arrives home late one night from his tour. Hank is the bassist for a rock band. To his surprise he walks in on a towel draped Sage. Hank and Sage both have pasts that they will have to overcome before the flirting they are doing becomes more. Can Sage teach Hank to become a Dom, and overcome his fear of hurting her? Can Hank save Sage from her fears and her past? Ella writes an awesome story about Dom's and sub's and their struggles with this life. Well written and had me so absorbed from the first chapter. I will definitely be reading more from this author. 5stars. Loved this book. Review from Dayreader Kim

Sage has moved to a small town to start over, mourning the loss of her mother as well as forget about the humiliating scene she had with her previous Dom. Hank a bassist in a band but as an ex-cop knows the dangers of a dominant relationship. When Sage and Hank meet sparks fly and Hank’s desire to dominate come out. Can they work together to learn what it truly means to have a D/s type of relationship or will the past destroy any connection they may have. A great read. The story is amazing, so emotional and great characters. Loved it!
