Editorial Reviews

I think the most refreshing thing about this book though is that it tells a great story with interesting characters without the need for twenty seven encyclopedic volumes of epic insanity. I could hardly put my copy down, and if it had been longer I would have probably lost my job.

Operation Montauk keeps readers glued to the page... Young uses time travel in a way that doesn’t seem cliché or overused. Instead of humans beating time, time challenges them.

The book grabbed me from its opening words. I was thrust so quickly into the story that I felt like Cpl. Mallory trying to figure out what the heck was going on. I didn't even realize I was holding my breath until a word appeared. A word that never fails to cause a reaction from me - dinosaur. Like Mallory, time froze for me. At that moment, I let out my breath and unlike Mallory, started to grin like an idiot....
...I could not put this book down, only my need to sleep and work prevented me

From the opening scene where our young hero regains consciousness only to face a velociraptor (all books could use a velociraptor or two!) to the ending just in the nick of time (or is it?) climax facing WWII Nazis, I could NOT put this book down. It had the feel of an old pulp novel, with the pace of Star Wars and the heart of Indiana Jones. I LOVED this book from cover to cover. I only wish there was more!

This book was an absolute blast and I couldn't put it down. Young kept every chapter a cliffhanger and I had to read it all in one sitting because I HAD to know what happened.
