Amazing series, completely worth every bit you can get out of it.
Was expecting a bit more out of Kyrin's travels with the toddler, and a bit more of the Nicker, but the rest of the book more than makes up for that.
If you've read the first, don't hesitate to buy this one.

Very interesting mix of genres. Elves, dimensional travel, Lords and Knights, it's got it all.

The second book in the series andit was good but not as gripping as the first book. There were alot of repeated scenes and some details were left out that would be great to know. (Spoiler) For example what happened with the toddler? How did she travel with him? There were interesting mini story arches but they never got finished. Hopefully book three will pull it out?

really like this series and love the authors story telling but again it seems a little like a young adult tale instead of the writting i've grown to love from the heku story. i love alric and most of the males but i found myself not caring much for the females. don't get me wrong i love the story but didn't grow to love kyrin like i did emily. the back story with the gods and other creatures were different and sometime i found myself laughing out loud but it didn't stay with me like ms. neilsen other series did. i'm moving on to shadowmere now and hope like heku that the thrid book will draw me in. still recommend this book highly just becaus i like t.m. neilsen story telling
