    Excellent!!

    I read this book in a day. The characters had my attention from the first page and once I was finished chapter one I was at the point of no return. I have read several of Mrs. Jackson's books and she is an extraordinary writer. This book is must read!!!!

    Perfect Fit is a Pefect Read!

    This book is perfect. I was immediately drawn to the characters Sage and Gabe. The intensity of the love that Mrs. Jackson decsribes in the book is vivid and can easily be felt by the reader. This is the first book I have read of Brenda Jackson's and I am about to buy the book that proceeded it 'Perfect Timing.' This a great read for anyone who belives in soul mates and especially those who have found theirs. This book is an aboslute must read!!!!!!!

    Did Alaska proud but.......

    As an african american woman living in Alaska, I wasn't sure what to expect from the story. I was hoping that Mrs. Jackson's gift for story telling would overpower any annoying cliches about my state and she came through. The characters were charming and endearing. The author captured the beauty of a city that i have come to adore and the story was well told. This is a quick read that would be a fun read on a lazy day.

    I wanted to like this...

    but this book was not that good. One of the biggest problems was the format. There was no clear separation between events. In one paragraph the main character would be leaving work and the next sentence it would be a week later. I got confused a few times. It was very difficult to read. Added to that, the story constantly dragged at times and the main girl, Sage, was not that likable at times. It took me a long time to read this book because it was not that engaging. It's affordable tho so if you want a cheap read, I'd recommend this.

    Not her best..

    I normally like her books but this one was a disappointment, it was really awkward to read on my nook, there was not a very good seperation between the end of one paragraph and the begining of the next. It was also very hard to get into this book, just did not capture my attention. Over all I would not recommend it.

    Not my fave

    I've read a few titles by Ms. Jackson--mostly the Madaris and Westmoreland Series -- all of which I have enjoyed. So I was intrigued by the synopsis of this one. Unfortunately it didn't live up to my expectations. The heroine leaves her fiance and breaks the engagement in a huff then runs off to Alaska for a job. I was OK with that, but for someone who is supposed to be an "independent woman"--out from under the thumbs of her parents and ex-fiance, she runs right into the arms of a man who is bossy as all get out--it rubbed me the wrong way. Also, the hero was written with characteristics of someone much older than someone in his early 30s (a mere 6 years older than the heroine) would suggest. Usually, I like when a book is longer and the characters/story are well-developed, but in this one it felt like it was trying too hard.

    Good Book

    I was pleasantly surprised that this book didn't follow the rules as most romance novels do! The story line was interesting and the characters were believable. I would recommend this as an easy, fun read!

    Great book!

    I loved this book! Having had a husband who cleaned me out financially behind my back and left me in a world of hurt, I identified with the characters in the book.

    It's a bit silly at first, but you find yourself rooting for the romance to go forward. Very well written with believable characters and good storyline.
