Whether you read it quietly or loudly, learning about opposites has never been more fun - or funny - than with this winning board book.
Sniffles are quiet, but sneezes are loud. Amiably illustrated in a bright, graphic style, Leslie Patricelli’s spirited board book, QUIET LOUD, stars an obliging, bald, and very expressive toddler who acts out each pair of opposites with comically dramatic effect.

One in a series of books to reinforce opposite concepts. Young kids love this as a read-aloud, especially when it's time to read about things that are LOUD!! Illustrations are simple but adorable.

My daughter is 11 months old and she LOVES this book! It caught my eye in the bookstore, and since my husband and I have read it about a trillion times. We since then have purchased yummy YUCKY and no no YES YES. My daughter is drawn into the pictures, not overwhelmed by tons of words. She laughs when we sniffle for quiet and pretend to sneeze for LOUD. It allows you to interact with them and say what ever you want. I know that she will like this book for a long time and we will continue to throw our own narratives into the stories, getting more and more complex as she grows.. but for now simple and colorful is enough for her!! I highly recommend these books to anyone wanting to read a story in less than 3 minutes, and for those wanting to create conversations that last far more than the length of the book! (We even catch her screaming and say-- Wow your screaming is LOUD!!).

My 2 sons, 5 and 3 years old, LOVE this book. They laugh so hard when we get to the last page and they see the picture of the stinky sock. My son took this book for his show and tell because he wanted to share this book with all his friends.

My two year old absolutely loves this book. Every hour of the day it seems like she wants me to read this book to her. With its funny comparisons and cute artwork with bold colors, its fun to read, and I always enjoy anything that makes my baby smile! I will definately order the other books because I know my baby will love them!
