Meet the Author

Faith Hunter

A native of Louisiana, Faith Hunter spent her early years on the bayous and rivers, learning survival skills and the womanly arts. She liked horses, dogs, fishing and crabbing much better than girly skills. She still does.

In grade school, she fell in love with fantasy and science fiction, reading five books a week and wishing she could "write that great stuff." Faith now shares her life with her Renaissance Man and their dogs in a Enclave of their own. Faith is working on a new series, which Roc will publish starting in the summer of 2009, and a role-playing game, called The Rogue Mage, based on Thorn.

    Jane kicks a*s

    Jane Yellowrock is so far my favorite female lead of all the books I've read. I recommend reading the series so you can better enjoy this book. It's action-packed, and full romance, fight scenes, lust, and of course witty humor. The characters are awesome and the story is set in the south and it is so well written it's easy to envision the whole story. I find myself yearning to live there and experience the atmosphere (and the food) myself! I loved it ^_^

    Nook edition has unresolved issues

    I was really looking forward to this latest in the series. The text size in the Nook edition is too small to read and cannot be enlarged on my iPod Touch. I contacted BN customer service and they said they would credit me for the purchase and resolve the issue. This was a month ago; nothing yet. Very annoying.

    Poor jane cannot catch a break!

    Really enjoyed this one...lots of action, but too quickliy paced. You need to be pretty famiar with the previous book, as several seemingly small happenings there are important details here.

    If love this series, you'll love this book--

    Book #4 is another great read in the Jane Yellowrock series. These books just keep getting better & I can't wait to see what happens in book #5!

    The adventure continues

    I loved this as much as the first three Jane Yellowrock novels. Several issues were wrapped up and new ones discovered. I look forward to new books in this series.

    Excellent read!
