Ritual Tools (Wicca 101 - Lecture Notes)

Tools are objects that assist you in performing a task. You can use a screwdriver to pound in a nail, but wouldn't a hammer be better? You could use a plastic hammer, but how about using a sturdy metal one?

Ritual tools are the same way. You can use whatever you have on hand, or you can obtain a tool that was created for a very specific purpose.

Ultimately as your training advances you won't even need to use any tools. It will become a matter of choice rather than need.
