This was a story my Grandmother read to me as a young child... this is one every child should hear! Charming, heart-warming, a must-read!!! This is one to bring to the folks at the nursing home, it will delight them as well. I ordered a number of them for Christmas gifts (one will be for my own precious mother)... A story I will treasure my entire life and will share with as many people as my words and heart can reach! Author, Illustrator and Publisher... a heartfelt thank you for such a treasure.

Santa Claus gave me 'A Treasury of Santa Mouse' when I was a preschooler in 1973. I, too, have the whole thing memorized. My 3 young children love it too, and I love continuing the traditions of putting a yellow light at the top of the tree, as well as small gifts wrapped in white paper and yellow ribbon. Such a sweet story!

Wow. This book holds so many memories. I read this book with my family every Christmas and each Christmas Eve we leave out cheese along with the milk and cookies. It's such a great book...yay for Santa Mouse!

Santa Mouse brings the feelings of love and the spirt of the holidays back into our hearts and reminding us we are special in our own way whether we are big or small, young or old. I 've been reading this to my children for years and now my 13 year old son reads it to us. In the morning a gift is on the branches of the tree and I put 'snow 'on the branches to show Santa Mouse was there.

Just love this book! I received it as a gift when my children were small(grown now) and purchased it for my Grandchildren. Also recently started to give it as a 1st Christmas gift. Everyone loves it!

Now, 40 some years later, I too can still recite the entire book. It has been committed to my memory since I was 4 or 5 years old. It's a wonderful sweet little story that I have passed on to my 3 year old niece. I hope she remembers it as well as I do.

This book was my absolute favorite when I was a child. I had it committed to memory before I even learned to read. I can actually still recite Santa Mouse verbatim! I was tickled to see the book with its original cover and illustrations. I can't wait to share this classic with my 5 year old.

My Mom gave me Santa Mouse back in 1972, when I was Five years old. And too this day it brings back fond memories of what christmas is all about. Family, and treating children with love and respect. This Christmass I am 39 years old, and this is one of my favorite traditions, reading Santa Mouse on christmas eve with Mom. Thank you Mom, and Michael Brown for the special Memories. Scott

Every Christmas our family would read this book and every Christmas morning we'd always look in the branches for our gift from Santa Mouse. So glad books likes this are available again. I can't wait to start this tradition with my children.

Love the book. Read it to my granddaughters a few years ago, and they look on the tree every Christmas morning for the little box with the yellow ribbon. They love the tradition, as well as Grandma.

I'm so glad to see others love Santa Mouse as much as I do. For the last 21 years, my family has read Santa Mouse every Christmas Eve night in preparation for the next day. I have an original copy and buy new copies for all the new kids in my family and my friends' families. The story can't be beat!

My mother read this to me when I was just a little girl...isn't your typical christmas story...but is so very memorable. I have cherished my copy for 34 years.

My folks still have the 1968 original. In my family, the littlest cousin (still young enough to look cute in Santa Mouse p.j.'s)is the host of Christmas present opening. Okay, sometimes they are too little, and lose interest... I'm buying copies of Santa Mouse all my neices and nephews!

I was just unwrapping a hunk of cheese for my wife and it triggered my memories of this book (circa 1973). Punched it in a web search to see if I could find it. Really tickled to read everyone else's reviews so I thought I'd throw in my own. Great great book to pass on to your children. I'm going to order a new copy straight away.

I received Santa Mouse over 30 years ago. I remember I took it to elementary school & my teacher read it in class. Every Christmas season after that, she'd pull me out of class and ask me to bring the book in. For 20 years, it was tradition--- it's Santa Mouse.

I was a freshman in high school when Santa Mouse came out as a promotional item for JC Penny's. I also had a new nephew who was having his first Christmas. I bought up everything they had from the story book, the 45 record, pj's, EVERYTHING. The story is enchanting, and the song that goes with it is as cute as they come. I read that story for many years, and finally to my own son. He will someday pass everything down to his children. I highly recommend the book. Have fun reading it to your own little ones, or your grandchildren.

This story my mother brought me up on and every year Santa Mouse comes to our house and and leaves a package in 'white tissue paper' up in the tree. This is a book that my wife and I will bring our children up on as well. I ordered three copies to give out as gifts to people I've started the Santa Mouse tradition at their homes as well. If you've read 'Santa Mouse' you'll also love 'Santa Mouse, Where are you?' I love this book and it will always be a part of our Christmas!

My aunt bought this book for my sister, who is now 37. I am seven years younger than she is, and my mom continued to read this book to me. It was one of my favorite books, and I used to ask her to read it over and over. When I left the house for college, Mother told me and my sister that we had to go through the books to figure out which belonged to each of us, and to decide who would take custody of 'joint' books. I had never known that Santa Mouse was my sister's until that day, and I was so disappointed that I would not get to keep it for me and for my (future) kids. I am so glad that it is still in print, and I am not only buying my own copy, but I plan to give it to my nieces and nephews to continue the tradition!
