This book is hard but satisfying for people who have developed techniques for solving these puzzles. I have memorized all of the unique combinations. When I solve a puzzle, I start with the two-space problems and the problems that cross them. Then I do the rest of the problems with only one solution. Next I find the greatest and least number for the more difficult ones. Finally, I try to eliminate possibilities for the very, very hard ones by testing hypotheses. I did not learn how to do this from written instructions but through practice.
