Overview

Behind the power centers of governments and international cartels lay dark forces
on a mission to establish control over the lives of an unsuspecting populace. A
newspaper reporter receives information she was never meant to possess and as a
result has to flee for her life. On the run with nowhere to hide, Tracy Campbell lands
in a remote Missouri town struggling to keep her sanity, her information
and her life. Trying to fit in without sticking out is not easy, especially when the
local high school coach, Shad Kellerman, finds himself head over heels with her.
Tracy is attracted to Shad as well, but is consumed with fear; aware that high-
ranking politicians and corporate CEO’s covet the information she carries, putting
those close to her in danger as well

Unbeknownst to all at this juncture is the spiritual warfare that surrounds everyone
involved, especially Tracy and Shad. Demons, angels, saints and sinners make up the
core of this riveting novel that mirrors our world today. An old, retired minister
whose awareness of the spiritual forces at play actually holds the key to unleashing
the Heavenly angels who find themselves in a war with their fallen demonic
counterparts. Fast paced, with action on multiple planes of existence, Shadow Veil
steps from behind the curtain of deception and power that vies daily for control in
our lives, but just beyond our line of sight.

All the intrigue of modern politics, romance and action are combined with spiritual warfare and evident to those who seek answers behind the Shadow Veil.

One of the best reads I've had in a decade.

King uses the more mystifying aspects of the battle between good and evil in ways that are ordinary and extraordinary in our everyday lives. The characters become real and this story brings them all together with the heavenly saints to fight evil and corruption that has permeated the ranks of our government for hundreds of years and it is a battle to the death. There are no white or black hats showing you who is good and who isn't, but you can tell by the angels who show up to help them with this battle and fall in love with them.

This book is different in many ways to what you have read before, but it is well written and he takes you for a page turning ride. I couldn't put it down. Loved it!
