I simply loved this book. Beautiful language, artfully written. I browsed a more modern version and it paled in comparison. This should be required reading for all high school students.

This is a terriffic book about finding God within oneself and within nature. As a member of the Baha'i Faith, I believe the teachings of the Manifestations of God like Christ, the Biddha, Krishna, Moses, muhammed, and , for today- Baha'u'llah, are the key to finding oneself. I would have liked to see Siddharta discovering this within the Buddha's teachings, but he went a different driection and found God another way- which is fine, but I wish he would have given the Buddha a chance, rather than assert that no teachings would ever provide bliss, which is incorrenct because all the teachings from the Manifestations of God hold Truth. But, again, a great story and he did find bliss in his own way.
