A sexy contemporary romance with an alpha tycoon and a strong heroine

With foreclosure on her home looming and the Geddes Animal Rescue at risk, Sarah Geddes will do anything to save her land from being destroyed for handsome tycoon Mike Cavender's multi-million dollar real estate development.

Sarah has learned the hard way after escaping an abusive relationship that she can't trust men. But when Mike is snowed in with Sarah on the very piece of land they are both fighting for, she can't deny the electricity coursing between them.

As for Mike, well, he has no intention of falling in love again after losing his wife in a car crash four years ago -- especially not with the one woman who stands between him and his life's work. Still, something about Sarah Geddes has him realizing that even when they're snowed in, things can heat up quickly...

Their desire keeps them hot even in the cold of winter, and this time, she won't be saying no... Soon Sarah realizes it's not just her home she is in danger of losing to Mike Cavender - it's her heart.

Snowed In With The Tycoon is a full-length steamy contemporary romance novel from New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Shoshanna Evers. Sexily *Evers* After...

His kiss warms her in the snow...

"I thought you said this was never going to happen again?" she asked.

"I don't want to think. I just want to kiss." He opened his coat and wrapped it around her so her body pressed against his. The warmth of the coat covered her like a blanket. It smelled like him -- like expensive cologne mixed with something else uniquely Mike.

"Nice coat," she said against his lips as he gently nipped at her lower lip. She bit back a moan of pleasure.

"You can have it," he murmured. "You can have anything."

Sarah pulled away from his kiss and looked at him, the reality of their situation sinking back in. "I want my mother back."

Mike stopped kissing her and looked back into her eyes. "I know. But keeping the house isn't the same as keeping your mother."

    Definitely read this one!

I really enjoyed this book a lot - both Sarah and Mike are very emotionally broken people. Sarah, especially, has dealt with so much heartache and hard times, in the beginning I wanted to punch Mike for his initially cold determination to buy Sarah out. His arrogance hides a devastatingly broken heart, and as a lot of men do, he just shuts down everything that isn't business related. Of course, it takes both of them to open each other's eyes, and their attraction is smoking right from the start, even though they both fight it. There are some nice humorous touches throughout - I'm not a dog-lover, but I totally got Sarah's devotion to the animals and her shelter. And while I didn't buy Mike's sales pitch at first - I had the feeling even he didn't quite believe it himself, had only talked himself into it-as the story progresses, he is willing to accept and change flaws in his plan and perspective. Sarah really wakes him out of his stupor, and he does the same for her, even if she wants to hate him.

Definitely one to keep for re-visiting, especially on a snowy night. :)

Would love to be snowed in with this tycoon!

Shoshanna Evers is a new author for me. I follow her on Twitter and I am always intrigued by the things she writes. So, when her latest book came out that she self-published I would like to add, I knew I had to read it. It didn't disappoint. I devoured this book in two sittings. I got sucked into this story wanting to see love but also emotionally. Both of these characters were carrying a lot of weight on their shoulders and it was so nice to see them come together and help one another, even though they didn't know they were helping each other. When these two finally let go of the hate, they thoroughly heated up my e-reader pages.

Sarah is a character I think a lot of us can relate too. I liked that she was emotional. She was tough, but she let her tender side be known. Often times when I read romance, the woman is always strong down to the bone and I often think, I would would have cried if that happened to me! With Sarah, we got that. So it made her so much more relate-able.

Mike also comes across as this got it all together character. To let you in on a little secret, he is the one who ends up growing the most in this book. I almost didn't see that coming.

Sarah Geddes is a woman who has been recovering from the death of her mother. The only way she can hold on to her mother is to hold on to the house her mother left behind. However, in treating her mother's fatal illness, the equity on the house has all but disappeared. Sarah finds herself on the brink of foreclosure but unwilling to sell.

Real estate tycoon Mike Cavender has bought out all the properties around Sarah's house in upstate New York and has been set on building a housing community for the past two years. He offered Sarah a generous package for the house, enough to help her move and retain her animal rescue business.

One unexpected heavy snowstorm finds Mike stranded on Sarah's property. The storm lasts beyond that one evening and things heat up between the two of them. While Mike faces the tragedy from two years past, Sarah faces the threat from one year ago. Circumstances lead the two characters to sort through their inner struggles, win over their external obstacles, and find their happily ever after.

This full-length erotic romance novel is rich with emotion, depth of feeling, lots of romance that make the steamy encounters meaningful, and an awesome win-win for everyone involved (including the animals rescued). I highly recommend it.

The last year has been tough for Sarah Geddes. She ended an abus

The last year has been tough for Sarah Geddes. She ended an abusive relationship, her mother passed away and now her home is on the brink of foreclosure. All of her neighbors have sold their homes off to a real estate developer. Taking this deal would save Sarah and her animal rescue business, but she can't bear to part with her home and the land she loves in upstate New York.

Handsome real estate tycoon, Mike Cavender, has only one thing standing in the way of making millions on his recent real estate deal-Sarah Geddes. Sarah is the last of the home owners left to sign off on the deal and Mike doesn't understand why she would prefer losing it all to the bank, rather than take his offer and have financial security once again.

Sarah has made it clear to Mike that his money is not enough to make her sell. She loves her farm and doesn't want to budge.

When Mike gets caught in a snowstorm with nowhere left to go, Sarah takes him in for the night on the condition the business deal will not be discussed.

Neither of them counted on the building attraction between them, but Sarah has been through too much to give up her trust to another man and Mike is still not over losing his wife in a car crash.

Forced spending time alone together, things start to heat up, but anger over the business deal and both of their broken hearts keep them from admitting their emerging love for one another.

Snowed in With The Tycoon is a full length erotic romance with a strong emphasis on romance. Sure, it has steamy hot sex, like all of Shoshanna's writing, but this story really pulled me in with a fast paced storyline with characters I could really care about.

I felt for Sarah's plight and didn't want to see her lose everything that meant so much to her, but was also rooting for Mike to win her over.

This was not a quick and easy romance that had a simple 'happily ever after'. Though obviously falling in love with each other, Sarah and Mike would face many obstacles on the way and at some points I feared they wouldn't end up together at all.

A strong storyline, a heroine I could identify with and steamy sexy scenes made me turning pages as fast as I could read them.

Shoshanna Evers is an author that proves not every erotic tale has to be all about the sex and Snowed In With The Tycoon will be a novel I will recommend to many of my friends.

    more from this reviewer

Snowed In With The Tycoon by Shoshanna Evers was an enjoyable re

Snowed In With The Tycoon by Shoshanna Evers was an enjoyable read once the two main characters engaged in a relationship. The story begins when Mike, a rich businessman, wants Sarah to sell her home to him for his development project and she refuses because she inherited it from her deceased mother, even though it's about to go into foreclosure. Mike tries to make a last ditch effort by going out in a snowstorm to see Sarah but ends up stranded at her house when he has an accident.

Mike came off as too arrogant in the beginning with only one goal in mind. However, the story took a nice turn when real feelings started to develop between Mike and Sarah and readers learned more about them. That is when I found myself rooting for this couple to get their happy ending. Readers need to keep in mind that this is not the usual BDSM themed story that this author usually writes. It is a different change of pace and well-written. I always look forward to reading books by this wonderful author.

    Boring and ridiculous

I didn't like this book at all and the reviews must have been written by friends. Someone said it was the best book they ever read? It was lame, the characters were lame, the situations the characters found themselves in were stupid (unconscious in the water, she can't swim and sharks?! Seriously?) and the stuff that csme out of their mouths was trite and unbelievable. I also can't figure out why it's classified as erotic. Please save your money on this one I wish i had!

I have been reading romance novels since I was a teenager. I love the happily ever after when the prince rescues the princess from the evil villain. You can never predict the ending in a book unless you cheat and read the ending first, which basically ruins the idea of the story and characters. When reading a book, you want to connect to the characters and feel what they are feeling. When this happens, you know the author took their time to reach out to his or her audience. "Snowed in with a Tycoon" was BY FAR the BEST NOVEL I have ever read! I am not being overly flattering when I say this, even tho I do enjoy a great book. This book left me satisfied and touched, it also gave me time to escape to upstate New York and take in the scenery and appreciate the love and protection of an animals. Thank you, Shoshanna! For writing a novel that can inspire all of us helpless romantics into a happily ever after! My hero, Petunia!

    Just okay

Thought it would be a sexy read, but it was tepid and kinda 'meh'. They didn't even make love while snowed in. Read like a slightly below average category romance.
