Overview

Enter Kimberly. Kimberly is married to a man who always has to know her every move, exactly who she's with, and how long she's going to be with them. His controlling behavior is heightened when Kimberly discovers that he is using drugs. Then he begins to hit her even after he's promised so long ago that he'd never put his hands on her again. She wants to leave, but how can she leave the man she loves when he needs her most? Especially when he told her if she ever tried to leave him, he'll kill her.
Enter Charisse. Charisse is a married mother of two. The younger of which is the child of her husband. As described by her friends, Charisse has the perfect marriage. Her husband adores her and kisses the ground she walks on and they can't keep their hands off each other. In truth, they're arguing more than ever. Her husband feels that she spends too much time around her daughter's father, but Charisse tries to explain that her relationship with her ex is simply for their child. When her husband begins to spend too much time at work, Charisse suspects he is cheating. He says she should trust him and she wants to, but how could she trust him if he's cheated on her before?
Enter Regina. Both of Regina's best friends are married and say she should take the same route, but that's not the life she wants for herself. She's a single by choice, party animal and she loves it. She's currently dating a man whom she feels may just be one. Then she discovers he's already married. He says he's divorcing and Regina believes him. The only problem is that his wife is her boss and the woman is only one step away from crazy. With threats of lawsuits, blackmail, and sexual harassment, Regina must make the choice of whether her man is really worth all the trouble.
All three women must face their own inner demons and truths in order to overcome the trials and obstacles in their lives. They must come to terms with themselves and realize the men that want to love them how they want to be loved.

This book is amazing!!!! I loved it but was disappointed when it ended. Not that it ended badly but I want more. The writer definitely needs to finish this and release it so I can find out what happens. All of the characters are interesting but I want to see what happens with Regina and Drew most. I know something is going to happen between Kim and Trent and I also want to see what goes down between Charisse and Robert and what is going on with their daughter. Please finish the book India! Hurry, hurry, hurry!

I was quickly engrossed in who these women were and what was going on in their lives. I enjoyed her down to earth style of writing and the realism of her characters and their flaws. That being said, this book needs a good editor to correct the numerous mistakes throughout the story. I also think that many of the conversations between the characters could use some cleaning up. I felt many were far too long and slowed down the progression of the story. I was also disappointed with the ending. It felt like she stopped writing in the middle of the chapter rather than coming to a resolution. I want to know what happens next but the ending was a let down.

This book had way to many grammatical errors.

This book was EXCELLENT!!!!!!!! =) It had noticebale grammar mistakes, but not bad enough for me to put my Nook down and just disregard this book because of that. All of the characters' plots were AMAZING and I couldn't wait to go to the next chapter to know what adventure one of the other girls was having. Please please please, finish this book because I did not like being "left hangin" in the end like that! LOL.

Despite the grammatical errors, this book was a totally engrossing read. The characters and situations were relatable...I literally could not put this book down. I sincerely hope the author decides to make a series out of this. I would recommend this book to anyone.

Great does not discribe this book. Ms. India you're one talented author. This book is a mixture of romance, hurt, and that love that makes you wish you were in the characters position. I finished the last chapters listening to Erykah Badu (great combination). The only criticism i have is that there were a lot of grammar mistakes but other than that it's excellent. If you love that real urban fiction READD THIS!!! You won't be disappointed!

This was a great read, but the only thing that bothered me was the misspelled words. I need to know what happens to Kim and Dewayne and the handsome Trent. Did Risse and Robert get a divorce and she gets with Brian. DID Gina get fired amd finnally get with her best friend? Please finish!!!

I enjoyed the book, but I'd like to see a sequel to find out if love really is enough. The way it ended leaves room for a lot of curiosity.

This book started off as a good read, but by the middle I started thinking these are some of the dumbest women ever. I know we all make bad decisions, but come on these women made me angry with all their dumb choices. And how difficult was it to figure out Brianna was going to be pregnant, so obvious. I dont know who annoyed me more Kim or Charisse, but i wanted to slap both of them. I still dont understand why Kim would go back to her house alone knowing her crazy husband was there, she didnt even have a weapon to protect herself, stupid. Then Charisse dumb behind chased her man away without any real proof of him cheating and then turns around and cheats on him and then acts like the victim when she finds out she is wrong, stupid. And Regina is just too stupid for words. The person who filed a sexual harrassment suit against you breaks into your house and instead of calling the cops, which would help your case, you make a deal with him, really???? Then he rapes you, surprise surprise. And if all that wasnt bad enough I spent a lot of time editing the bad grammer. Whatever happened to proof reading?

The story plot was good, however not a page turner. It has taken me about three months to actually finish it. The grammar issues probably played a huge role in that. Someone needs to go back and proofread this thoroughly before it is released. I do want to know what happens next, however.

Stopped the read on page 51. No matter how good the content is, I cannot read a book with so many grammatical errors, run on sentences, and Ms. Lady, spell check is free.
