Meet the Author

I live in the beautiful mountains of Lake County, California. I have always loved hiking, camping, rafting and being outdoors. I’ve also been involved in the martial arts for years—I hold a third degree black belt, instruct in a Korean karate system, and have taught self-defense. I am happily married to a romantic man who often inspires me with his thoughtfulness. We have a yours, mine, and ours family, claiming eleven children as our own. I have always written books, forcing my ten sisters to read every word, and now my daughters read and help me edit my manuscripts. It is fun to take all the research I have done on wild animals, raptors, vampires, weather, and volcanoes and put it together with romance.

    Love Feehan....but....

    I too would enjoy the book with less sex scenes. I also got tired of reading what felt like endless diatribes about poor Stephan, the child who was tortuously trained in to a sex and war machine who had been trained to emotionlessly perform. I found myself rolling my eyes and was so over it by the time the book finally ended. I think once those details are established in the book we dont need to keep reading it over and over and over and over and over.....
    I am realky surprised a lot of this type of filler wasn't edited out. Will keep buying Feehan, because in the end I really enjoy her books. But this one was a bomb in my opinion.

    Not her best work

    I agree, too much repeated information we didn't need again and again. Sex scenes were really a bit over the top. By the time the story was over, I was glad.

    I have come to love CF, with that being said, I was very disappointed in this book. I feel like this book was rushed, and she added a lot of information over and over again as filler. Did I mention, there was a lot of added information that wasn't needed?

    Love it!

    As always Christine Feehan rocks! I have read every one of her books and all of her series', and they never disappoint, except the wait for more. For those who think there is too many sex scenes, it is a romance series and Christine is known and well loved for steamy scenes. This actually a little tame for her, you should read the Dark series! Don't pay any attention to the negative stuff, Christine, just keep doing what u r doing! Your fans are behind you and we love you!

    Disappointing...Read at your own risk

    Every Christine Feehan book I've picked up I couldn't put it down until I finished it. However, with this particular book I had to force myself to get through it. It is seriously gag-worthy. Every page mentioned Stefan's tragic childhood and I was so over it. No need to repeat it over and over and over. Then there's Judith, the lamest character ever with her kaleidoscopes. Really, kaleidoscopes?! I don't understand why people are saying there is too much sex. In my opinion, there wasn't enough just boring talk about Stefan's dark side. There is nothing romantic or steamy about this book like Feehan's other work. I'm very disappointed because I looked forward to reading the next Sea Haven book. Now I'm sorry I did. Definitely not worth the money.

    All Right

    This book followed the same path as the other Drake sisters did. That's not a bad thing! The extra sex in the book didn't bother me. Much tamer than some of the ones in her recent "Dark" books. I do have to admit, I skipped some of the pages and I wanted to get to the plot...who would kill who...when are the Drakes going to get involved...what "extra" abilities do folks have and how are they going to use them. All in all...an OK book...not the best...but not the worst.

    love the story just not all the sex

    I like the characters, plots but don't need all the sex scenes. Hope their would be more on drake sisters. Stefadn's orders have been changed and he thinks its a plain of baby sitting Judith in case her exboyfriend shows up looking for the micro chip. He thinks its a trap to lure out Lev they are not believing hes dead. He wants to protect is brother from the kill and knows that he must be on the list.stefan meets Judith and he falls for her.

    Loved this story

    Latest installment in the Sisters of the Heart series and it is wonderful. While each book follows Ilya's brothers to Seahaven it is really about the women and the family they have created. If you like Feehans Drake Sister series tou will enjoy this one as well.

    Love the author

    Just finished reading this book and loved it. Like always book keeps guessing till the to ind iut what happens. Love everythibg she writes looking forward to mire boojs in this series and how will she incorporate the Drake sisters and Iliya.

    Loved it!

    I love this series, in her other talent series it was more one talent at a time until the 3 book. In this series we get them all in the second book. Even though one or two of the ladies are still a mystery about the talent they have. Can not wait for more. Wish they came out faster.

    Classic Christine Feehan - a must-read

    If you loved the first books in Feehan's Dark series, you must read this book. I love this series along with all her other series books. I have been disappointed in the last couple of the Dark books, but this book rocks!

    Don't know if I'm getting OD'd or what

    I think maybe I'm starting to burn out on Feehan's books. I enjoyed the book, but I'm not sure I'd recommend it to anyone. All of her books are starting to blend together for me. That being said, I still want to read the next book in this set. One thing I would like to see is the brothers' reunion--fist-fights, magic battles, and all. Ilya is still my favorite of the brothers, and it would be interesting to see him caught between being glad his brothers get their HEA and beating the daylights out of Levi because of what happened to Elle.

    Hmmm

    I love CF, LOVE all her books, but this series has been disappointing. Too much repetativeness. It's a good read, just not as great as CF usually is.

    Captivating

    Christine Feehan has done a wonderful job yet again! This is a wonderful romance that was both exhilerating and adventurous. The characters really come alive, as they do in all of her novels. I especially love that the mysterious Prakenskii brothers really come alive, and take form. Great read, however I do recomend that you read Water Bound first.
