She knows Niall and Irial watch over her, and she would give almost anything to keep them from hurting. But she resists the pull to be with either one of them. Someone knows about Leslie's past, however, and is intent on using her to reach the fey. And he doesn't care who gets hurt.

Meet the Author

Melissa Marr

Melissa Marr: Although I was voted "most likely to end up in jail" in high school, I decided to get an MA and teach literature and gender studies to college students across the country. Along the way, I've been unable to resist trying new things—including working an archeological dig, slinging drinks at a biker bar, and getting fabulous tattoos.

I call all of this research for my writing. To fill my craving for new experiences, I've lived in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Southern California, and Virginia, and I plan to keep roaming with my family as widely and as often as possible.

    Ok, but not worth buying

I liked the story, but it was very short. If I would have known, I would not have bought it

    teen fic? ew

I don't mind teen fic but I like to be warned before I walk into a book with angsty teenage heroin's and male leads with almost no personality but to love and adore the Mary sue lead. so if you wanna read another Mary sue meets Gary stu, dont buy this book, there are tons available free at the library.

    Fans Rejoice!

Yes, this book is incredibly short, but it's worth your time and money. I guess you could call it a short story in the world of Wicked Lovely, but it adds to Ink Exchange in that it focuses on the relationships between Leslie, Irial, and Niall now that Leslie is no longer in the Dark Court. It was great and I would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the series.

    more from this reviewer

    My absolute favorite book series!

I bought this book because I am a huge fan of the Wicked Lovely series. I also am not a huge fan of Keenan, and the other courts excluding the Dark Court. This book doesn't deal woth the other dramas that the series deals with, but it was still worth reading. My favorite characters are by far Niall and Irial. This book mainly deals with them, and thats another reason I enjoyed it.
I was however, disappointed with the short length of this book. Other than that I would suggest this book to anyone who enjoys the series. I found Stopping Time worth buying, but the other short story Old Habits was disappointing.
