Meet the Author


I graduated from Eastern Michigan University and live in Michigan with my family. I am almost finished with Taken’s second book, and have other stories in the works.

I have always had a dream of being an author, but after being told repetitively that my writing wasn’t any good all through high school and college I believed them. Then after having three kids, lots of prayer, and having to rethink the way I viewed life, I started writing again.

I love dreams that allow us to think outside the box and become more than we thought we could be! I love writing, hiking, soccer, practicing Tai Chi, going out dancing, reading, and listening to music. I love Star Wars and DC Super Heroes. I thank the Lord for blessing me with the family and dreams that keep me writing.

    Recommended

    This is sci-fi for people who think they don't like sci-fi. The author keeps the action moving and stays away from most jargon and made up terminology. The characters are still growing (it's the first in a series), but they draw you in and make you want to learn more. I am looking forward to the next installment.

    Never boring

    I sooooo enjoyed this series and I would love it if there was a third book. I have two young kids and it took alot of willpower to put this down when they needed attention.

    New to science fiction

    I am not usually a fan of science fiction but this story captured my attention. It was very well written with many details so that i did not feel as i was reading strictly science fiction.

    Sci fi

    Sci fi at its best. Really enjoyed both books of this series. It was well written, good believable characters. Worth your time!
