Shiloh Walker has been writing since she was a kid. She fell in love with vampires with the book Bunnicula and has worked her way up to the more…ah…serious works of fiction. She loves reading and writing anything paranormal, anything fantasy, and nearly every kind of romance. Once upon a time she worked as a nurse, but now she writes full time and lives with her family in the Midwest. She writes paranormal and contemporary romance, as well as romantic suspense.

    I thoroughly enjoyed this novella. It was short and sweet, not chock with love scenes here, but it wasn't necessary for me to like this book. Rocki is my new girl crush! I fell in love with her instantly! Typically authors write about plus-sized women who need an attitude adjustment about their curves and we get to see them transform into the woman Rocki is from page 1! Such a refreshing delight!! I wanted to be Rocki's friend. And Cole seemed yummy and oh so sweet in his own right. The character Mara was appropriately the Queen of Witches. She added a good dose of fodder and conflict for this short story. I would have liked to see a little more conflict between her, Rocki, and/or Cole vs the stalker plot (which came out of left field kinda). That was only thing that took this from a 5 star read for me!
