I'm very picky about the books I read. I like a little bit of paranormalcy but not too out there. This book had the perfect balance of fantasy and real world (in my opinion).
The characters were all likeable. The "glimpses" were a cool idea and I liked this spin on time travel.
There were a few parts where explanations became hard to follow but I never felt lost or like I failed to understand an important aspect of the story.
I'll definitely be reading the next book! I'm excited to see how the author will further develop Gabriel's character and the relationship between him & Jessie.

AMAZING! Riveting, breathtaking, page turner! Beautifully well written story. Tyra Lynn managed to describe feelings through this book that I cant believe she managed to put into WORDS! Tempus is now my FAVORITE book! I am not a person to cry when reading a book.. but this one did it - A few times. Tears of grief, excitement and pure joy! I LOVE this book. The characters were all so easy to love and the twists and turns were absolutely amazing. And the ending.. WOW!!! I loved the ending! It gave me closure but also left me craving the next book! THE BEST BOOK EVER!

Tyra Lynn will break your heart a thousand times with this breathtaking love story between Jessie and Gabriel. If you’re wondering about the thousand times thing, they’re Gabriel’s words to Jessie: for you, a thousand times eternity. That's just a little hint to show you the beautiful love between these two. Tyra Lynn has created an intriguing heart-felt love story which shows nothing can separate soul mates—not even time. I also liked the way Tyra Lynn showed Jessie's feeling for Steve. I think most teenage girls have found their self in this situation with a guy, and to me, Lynn wrote this real. I don't find it leading a guy on at all. I felt Jessie was being true to her feelings like any teenage girl trying to figure her feelings out and make the responsible, right choice for her. So I really don't like when others call this “leading a guy on” because it’s not. It’s part of growing up. So thank you, Tyra Lynn for show a teenagers girl's heart for caring about two guy and I also give Tyra Lynn high praise for her awesome writing and storyline.
Jessie is seventeen and it’s her last week of summer before she starts her senior year. Jessie also has visions, or glimpses as she calls them, but only when she touches antiques. And with her father's antique shop she, has a lot of glimpses. When she touches any kind of old object she can see the person who owned it. When Jessie's father buys a nineteenth century full-length-mirror Jessie is going to get more than a glimpse of someone else’s life, she’s going to get her own past, present, and future in the most gorgeous blue-eyed boy she’s ever seen. And he’s looking back at her. Jessie's glimpses turn into deja vu when she walks into her father’s shop and meets the new guy her dad has hired. It’s her mirror guy. Gabriel is gorgeous, with blue eyes and black hair, and he’s from the nineteenth century. And he needs Jessie to remember…But with Gabriel and Jessie’s love, one day can change their love for ever.
Tempus is a timeless love story with these two soul mates, and with the cliffhanger ending, it definitely has me hoping Tyra Lynn writes with a fast pen. I recommend Tempus as a must read.

I rarely re-read a book but I suspect this won't be the last time I pick it up. I highly recomend it! Bravo, Tyra Lynn. I look forward to reading more of your work.

I was skeptical of this book at first but it was so cheap for how long it was and I decided why not? I loved everything about this book! I've never read a book with a storyline quite like this one and I want to thank the author for coming up with a paranormal teen romance that doesn't involve vampires or werewolves which is a topic that is completely overused now. I was so happy with the end too, but I don't want to spoil anything fr potential readers. Speaking of people who are looking into reading this, JUST BUY IT! You won't be let down. I simply cannot wait for the second book!

You CAN judge a book by it's cover, and I am glad I did. This is a very well written story with memorable characters, a sweet romance, some mystery, a lot of surprises and an ending that shocks and satisfies at the same time. Really really good. My cousin says she can sum it up in one word. Amazing. . It's also a very long book, huge compared to a lot of these short novels. Not something you can read in a few hours. You get your monies worth with the length and writing and I'd bet it was professionally edited. Really really worth it in every way.

Overview
According to Albert Einstein, the distinction between past, present and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion. He might have been right.Seventeen-year-old Jessie McLeod is used to getting glimpses of the past when she touches objects in her dads antique shop, but she's not used to the past looking back. Especially when the past is a gorgeous guy and she is dressed like a slob.
Shocked and intrigued, Jessie becomes obsessed with trying to catch another glimpse of that perfect face. When thoughts of him invade her sleep, the dreams seem so real that she wakes with the feel ...
