    Just what I needed

    Great book with amazingly great advice and insight to the often difficult world of labor. This book gave me the tools I needed to keep going in a job I liked less and less as time went on. I think it is a great book for those of us who need the tools to handle difficult work situations.

    Peace & Calm In The Storm.

    This was a very good piece of work by T.D. Jakes. The 10 Commandments of Working In A Hostile Environment is worthwhile reading for any person that works outside their home or at home with a variety of personalities, whether it is one or two co-workers or several hundred co-workers. Here are a few excerpts from the book: page 4, "..., for contentment and fulfillment can only be achieved when we walk straight along the path the Lord has set before us." page 5, "when the hostilities increase, may your ability to solve problems and restore order, productivity, and creativity increase twice as much." and page 187, "... you must not make this the place (work) where you meet your primary needs for human relationship. You must remember that you are not at work to make friends and have a good time. If that happens as a by-product of performing your job, then that's a gift. However, we should not expect it or work to cultivate it. God created families and friends for social support." This book should inspire you to be your best at work, yet not expect a non-hostile environment because some people at work just do not want you to succeed; once you realize that, you should be able to handle whatever occurs at work through God's grace. A favorable review: Informative, enlightening and educational.

    This Book will Change Your Life!

    One of my relatives recommended this book that she'd read because I was going thru so much turmoil at work and not only at one job---several jobs. I didn't have any answers. I didn't know what I was doing wrong or what I needed to do right. This book set me on a total course of affirmation. I learned so many things about myself and others. He adds a tremendous amount of Christian values and guidance for working in a hostile environment according to the Word. I LOVED THIS BOOK! It has been my best read in the last 3 years!!!I couldn't put it down. I read it every waking moment. This book is a must-have!Bravo, Bishop Jake!!!!
