About the author

Standing over six feet tall, Jonathan Moeller has the piercing blue eyes of a Conan of Cimmeria, the bronze-colored hair a Visigothic warrior-king, and the stern visage of a captain of men, none of which are useful in his career as a computer repairman, alas.

He has written the "Demonsouled" trilogy of sword-and-sorcery novels, and continues to write the "Ghosts" sequence about assassin and spy Caina Amalas, the "$0.99 Beginner's Guide" series of computer books, and numerous other works.

Very short 'book', great story just not going to keep paying a couple of bucks for the rest odd the story... as small as the first two books were it will add up to an expensive book very quickly

This book really makes the real introduction to the larger story which plays out in this book and the next. As always, for me, Moeller's fiction serves up an appealing dish; great characters, a clever plot and storyline all leading up to a thunderous climax. Great fun.

This book was much better than the first for three reasons 1) it was longer 2) the main character had more screen time 3) the overall plotline finally starts The only thing i find wrong with this book is that The Testing and The Assasin shiukd have been one book rather than being two seperate books
