Gary Larson is a comical genius. If I ever need a laugh I just flip open a page of Far Side and I am all set. Great first volume.

I bought the Far Side The complete set. I was laughing for hours. My brother also truly liked the Far Side. The binding is very strong, the book covers are leathery and classy looking. Too bad Larry Larson quit drawing, I wish he could have kept on. Thank you larry for the years of us reading the cartoons in the newspapers. You were great. Honest. I recommend anyone purchase the same complete set. Money well spent. This is a rating of 5 stars.

There's nothing to say about the Far Side books that fans don't already know. They are just plain hilarious. I miss the days I used to work w/the daily calendar on my desk, waiting to be ripped off day by day to reveal the next hilarious cartoon.

My dad and I love Gary Larson. I used to get him the daily calendar every year until Larson stopped drawing. I figured getting him the book would be just as good.
