Fantastic little book for young kids. It's a very simple, non-boring, explanation about the First Thanksgiving. My 4 yr. old loves this. We actually bought it last November and I just ran across it again looking for more of Sarah Treu's books, so I thought I should write a review about how much we like it! :)

I never write reviews, but I really liked this book. I've looked for a long time for a very simple book about Thanksgiving. This is simple enough for my kids to understand and they really enjoyed the story. The end prompted them to think of things they're thankful for.

I recommend "The First Thanksgiving" by Sarah Treu. I bought the book for my 3 1/2 year old grandson and my 20 month old grandson liked it just as much.

This was a nice way to introduce our granddaughter to what Thanksgiving was all about. So... it's not just a really great meal? Very simple for kids to understand and gives them a brief introduction into the Pilgrims.

Very cute. Only thing I don't like is there is no mention of God.

Really liked this. Cute and simple version of the first Thanksgiving. I think it's perfect for a young audience and I plan on reading it to my kindergartners.

When reading a book to your children or grandchildren, you always want accuracy and an entertaining well written book; this book does both. You know you have a winner when the kids want you to read it again! I highly recommend.

I think the story is very good for young children. I was disappointed that the book was very small on the screen. It would not enlarge and was very difficult for the children to attend to. I will probably try to find the book to read to my class. I give a 5 star rating for the story and a 2 star rating for the screen presentation.
